I saw Danny 4 times during the Live Idol tour and again when he did his solo show in NY...he is truly an amazing singer and performer!

i don't see how you guys think that the producers are making Danny dance a certain way, i mean, when i look at this I see Danny, dancing like he always does. true, it's choreographed, but it's supossed to be. the only thing i think isn't Danny, is on Maria Maria, when he stands over the mic stand. yeah. i liked it, and thought it was fine, but i wouldn't see Danny actually doing that on his own tour or anything. i'm 100% Danny fan, love him, and just thought i would put my opinion in here.

. One thing that drew me to Danny in the beginning, is that he moved and danced really kewl He has the freedom of motion and expression that most white men could live centuries and never have. Also, I noticed that he was one of the best when there were choreographed group numbers, such as Disco week, where he did everything well, but Adam Lambert ended up looking like a ballerina, or cheerleader, or even GUMBI, when he did MJ type moves.

However, he seems to be used to moving in a non sexual, but more agape love mode when he does his Gospel music.

This has been part of his life for a very long time, and it is how he operated, when on stage.Now the producers are looking for him to do that rigid, porn style sleeze moves that most sexually repressed or perverted people think sex should be

.He is not used to that, and not used to that being a part of his musical expressionSo now he is trying to naturally move in a way that is not really natural to him,

I am sure that in time he will get it,

However, I, for one would like to see him dress and move like he does when he is NOT on stage.. I think that kids would relate to him better, as he really is quite sexy and kewl for a white man

U know what dotsicle, I used to like Adam Lambert too. If the Entertainment media did not go out of their way to give him a boost up, by beating his competition down, I might not have stood back and put him under the same microscope they were using on Danny. Once i did, i could see just how really far he falls short of a 'real' rock star. But these are different times, and the media is paid to manipulate the industry to dumb down the masses, and it hurts to see how many dummies there are.

BTW Terreyn, if you want to bust a gut get a hold of the Lambert tour video and turn the sound off. He is sure of his moves, because he copied them directly from a Freddie Mercury video. However, he adds his own brand of fakeness to them, and moves like a combo of kabuki dancer, sleezy stripper, and female impersonator

.Once those JIVE 19 people are through with him and onto the next idols, he could probably be a great middle aged Jewish Dentist, he looks the part, & he can make his mom proud!

If you don't understand the outfit then perhaps have a discussion with the AI promoters. At least it must be more comfortable than that Halloween nightmare they have Adam Lambert wearing. It has to be murder in that heavy leather, under hot lights, with the backward apron to cover his middle aged spread out tush. All those sharp nails don't make for much comfort either. But i guess a singer has to do what he has to do to seem exciting to his fans, if he is acting more than singing from his soul.

How can anyone say that a PAID "Music Director" at his church has no training? How do you think he got the job?

He can't dance, his moves are awkward and self-conscious. He should only sing in the shower. Anyone who gives him a recording contract should have their head examined. In 2 yrs he'll be BEGGING for his old job back!

I am a BIG fan of Adam, but I recognize Danny's talent too. I enjoyed this video; it showed Danny enjoying himself on stage, plus he's a very good singer! No reason why people can't like both performers. As far as "looks" go, Adam is the type I personally find most attractive, but Danny is good-looking too.

If you listen to his studio sessions, where he had a few more days to heal his voice, and familiarize himself with the song ( don't forget he was fairly sheltered from mainstream music, most of his life ) he nailed every song, every genre and made it distinctively his own. I was blown away by his jazz singing in Come Rain or Come Shine, he has never had a formal singling lesson, unlike some of the others, and should never have been able to do what he did. But he DID it !

Add to that a distinctive voice that you know is him, in a hearbeat, coupled with his non " studied" " cookie cutter " approach to singing ( Blue eyed soul man for sure ) and he is anything BUT boring to listen to. Matter of fact his lack of vocal training and coaching, lets him improvise every time he sings, so that each and every performance is new. I don't tire of listening to this man.

I am sure Danny can have a hit since hits come out only one song at a time. The problem with Danny on a show like Idol is that we have to hear him sing different songs every week and after a while, we realize that everything he does sounds the same.
