tough question.ummm. I personally am not ever going to lube my 7x7 unless they drastically drop in price. The only reason I'm not going to lube mine is becuase it cost soooooo much. I would probably lube mine if I could pay maybe 50$ to buy a new one just in case it broke somehow. It's up to you. I don't really know any risks of lubing the cube. Its not that different from other cubes, just bigger. If you can afford to buy a new one if the one you have breaks, definatley lube it.If not, don't
There is no risk in lubing your cube! They are meant to be lubed. Use Silicone, do not use Vaseline!

is there any way on the 6x6x6 to narrow it down to 1 paritie? like the 7x7x7 instead of memorizing them all you can bring it down to one.
