To Mary.. I love this song. My S.O., who lived for 7 years in India, traveled through Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc., turned me on to this song. I also hope that you will upload to YouTube my VERY FAVORITE song that you did, Raging Child. Please do that. It encapsulates and releases the emotions of many women who have experienced serious abuse (usually misogyny), so that many have reached a point of releasing those negative emotions for the better, after hearing Raging Child. Thank you.

@mrcrymnd I was lucky enough to see her last weekend. Friends of mine had her play at their Christmas party. I had no idea who she was and was very shocked by how much I liked her. She's got a voice that can practically do anything and she's very interesting as well.

I started listening to OP in college in 1996 after a friend recommendation. Been following Mary ever since. Man, I can imagine the hair standing on the back of my neck if I was there hearing her go from speaking voice to full-on singing voice!

She has the most unique voice. Enchanting, haunting, melodic, romantic, ....so many aspects come to mind. The first time I heard Mary Faul was on WXPN out of Philadelphia. I was floored by her originality.

I discovered Mary Fahl quite by accident on the morning we were to leave for Ireland in 2003. I had to run out to the store and and get something, and this song came on the car radio. I almost fainted because it was so beautiful. I prayed the DJ would say who was, and miraculously, he did! I drove straight to Barnes & Noble and bought the CD. Every song on it is mesmerizing. Iv'e seen Mary in concert at Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA, twice--just tonight, in fact. :) Why isn't she famous?

Thanks for posting this vid! I was one of the lucky few to be there for this concert (got some good pix!). Wow! Just Mary and a guitar in someones's living room. I've seen Mary many times, everything from the big sound of October Project to more recent small backup bands and this was by far my favorite. Incredible intimate night. Loved her new stuff. Can't wait for a new CD. Please post more!!!
