Or you could just run some baking soda, vinegar, & boiling water down your drains once a week. You'd get the same results, but without the expense or danger of using something that may not hurt your METAL pipes, but will eat right through your skin.
These used to scare me too when I was just a little one. They made me believe that one day my house will shake and talk in a God-like voice. I'm glad I didn't grow up in California, with all the earthquakes.
This is same as the American versions of the late 1970's-early/mid 1980's Drano TV commercials but in the Canadian version the voice of the "You're Sink's Clogged, e.g." is a different voice and not American Drano's Allen Swift.
