@xNeutrino27x It can't, the amount is not really significant. What can kill people is panic the heat can cause, can lead to shock, and that can be dangerous. Past a certain amount it doesn't get any hotter. However what this guy endured must be seriously painful. Ive had Mad Dogs 38 special and 44 magnum, which are 3million and 4 million scoville extracts, about 1/4 the amount that guy had. It is foul tasting, and it is like being stung by wasps and burned by a cigar. Not nice at all.

Comprehensive nutritional studies have not shown any adverse effects in chili or capsacinoids even at 10 times the maximum use levels. Even if you do indulge in super hot sauces do not worry, they are quickly metabolized in the liver within a couple of hours.
