Thanks, next one in line for me is CentOS but not before I get wireless to work. I managed to load the module which recognizes the wireless interface but is unable to do an AP scan. Unless i find a patch for the driver I will be configuring it manually using wpa_supplicant.conf.
@rstat1, I no longer have it but you can build it yourself using the instructions I posted at the link found in the description.

Looks good dude! I might have to give KDE4 a try myself. been thinking about trying Gnome3 too.
