I was there, such an amazing occasion, complete strangers chatting like they had know each other for years. a remarkable event that should have been broadcast live on the BBC, Thanks Wootton Bassett.

Wootton Bassett will live in the hearts and minds of many people around the world for the simple love it's people have shown. and this is what good decent British people do to honour our fallen heroes. I was really struggling to play Deep Harmony at the end the emotion of the night hit me at that point

I felt that the ceremony was simple and respectful and somehow the occasion was imbued with a great deal of Wootton Bassett's spontaneous good humour too. I much appreciated this final opportunity for our town to stand shoulder to shoulder with our troops.
