the songs of dylan are like crown jewels in a display case capturing the spotlight and turning it into a myriad of dancing rainbows when viewed from different angles. Each time I listen to a dylan song, a different line or verse stands out, depending upon my mood and the setting I am in.
Pity there's not more live Bob videos on YT ... I guess you can hear them "if you lean your head out far enough from Desolation Row." .... thanx YBildaDilpaY.
There is this 'good vibes' feeling especially in this original recording. And it is easy to hear from bob's voice that he is -so to say - 'clean', -he isn't under any kind of drug, not even grass...I've good memories of this song: I was feeling very down, lonely and deppressed back in -90 but the sunny, a bit latino kind of Mike Bloomfield guitarring. helped me then. It's so POSITIVE
Écoutant ce classique en cœur de nuit, je me souviens de sa sortie sur vinyle... et je me dis comme le temps passe! Merci de l'avoir mis là à la disposition des amoureux de Dylan. Tim is right: brilliance is the appropriate term!

I like the solo acoustic live version from the Royal Albert Hall bootleg better.

The guitarist wasn't Mike Bloomfield. It was Charlie McCoy, a Nashville sideman.

Mike Bloomfield on this is incredible, weaves with Bob's guitar and voice effortlessly.

About time someone put the original song up. Well done. Now let's hope to Christ that this doesn't get bombarded with My Chemical Romance retards.
