@fabienbable Well, there are some little things you can do to speed uo your computer and get better fps...1) Download a defrager or disk cleaner off the internet 2) Anti Virus software off the interenet 3) Registry cleaner off the interenet...Also you should delete all unneeded files to save space...IF all that IS NOT enough you should lower your detail settings in fsx ;)

how you get those colors? wing looks little bit too metallic but is way better than fsx default. I will have my computer by wednesday is intel i5 2500k 3.33Ghz which I'll overclock to 4.5Ghz. Nvidia GTX 560 OC and 4GB DDR3 RAM. What do you think? Will I be able to run it maxed out?

@yerrazo Sounds like it will run fsx great! Just remember you cant get your computer to cluttered and expect fsx to run to its best. I used sony vegas for colors ;)

Hi I was just wondering if anyone could help me out on a question. I see a lot of videos on youtube about fsx and there PC specs and how theres are maxed out but my specs beat some of theres and i still cant maxed out. heres my specs AMD Phenom 2 x4 black edition quadcore processors overclocked at 3.4ghz with 6mb cache. MSi motherboard. 4gb of DDR3 RAM. visiontek RADEON HD 5450 2gb graphics card. windows 7 ultimate 64bit so I was wondering if anyone could tell me why IM not maxing out FSX.

I am running a amd 8120 at 3.7Gz 8 gigs of ram and a gtx 560 and i barely can max out without going under 15FPS good luck doing it on that 955 black edition. Also i am pretty sure you don't have a 2 gig 5450 when I looked it up i only could find 512MB and 1gig. That is a pretty bare graphics card and cpu if you want to max out i suggest the 8120, i5 or i7 cpus and at least a GTX 460.

@NathanielBlack12 The add-ons put more stress on the FSX engine and the PC as a whole, so "maxed out" is valid.

FSX makes brutal use of your CPU and can only draw on 4GB of memory, the more add-ons one has, the harder it is for it to work.

Glad to see after 5 years, someone was finally able to play the game the way it was meant to be played. According to Moore's Law of 18 month speed doubling intervals, the best processors at the time this game was released were only about 16% as powerful as they needed to be, and that's not even including the optimizations in SP1 they provided.

The frames still seem a little low, however. Looks like you're getting 25fps or so. 60fps+ would be preferable.
