In FPS games, yeah. Well actually, in real life AND games alike, I try to be as proficient as possible with all resources available. But in FPS games, I have a preference for basic open sights. If the sights on a particular weapons are crude, and a reflex sight is an option, then I'll opt for a reflex sight instead. For example, in Crysis, the assault rifles have crude iron sights, so practially everyone prefers a red dot.

Oh, something else to0 also. Scopes are detrimental to close-range combat since they hinder peripheral vision and can create disorientation. I always advize my fellow stalkers to take the scopes off their rifles and use iron sights for indo0r fighting.

Nope. ObLost v2.2. Iggy's not a big LURK fan. He would be except that you can die with one or two hits while at the same time it takes TWO shots with the Mosin-Na-friggin-gant to kill a rodent. A RODENT!!

Notice how one of the rodents in this video takes three shots to kill with a P220 which is a .45. A FORTY-FIVE!!

There's a MOsin-Nagant in AMK to0 also, but it actually does what you'd expect it to do...which is pwn. AMK also has a sawed-off TOZ-34. The sawed-offs in AMK fit in slot-2 so there's more of a reason to cho0se a sawed-off in that mod.

Sure, it sounds like it's graphics will suck dirty litter, but it actually still looks excellent and plays at 150 FPS on my PC (and I have a not-so-high performance one!).

How'd you like how I lo0ped the song toward the end?

Note: The AS Val, the SIG/Sauer P220, and the sawed-off are some of my favorite weapons in the Zone. And I love battling snorks and pseudogiants. But you probably figured that. XD This game nEVEr gets boring.

We don't see to0 much 9x39 action here in the West. But then, they probably don't see to0 much .458 SOCOM over there behind the former Iron Curtain.

Good point. I have seen some shotgun rifle combo's chambered for 9x39 in gun magazines, for what reason I couldn't tell ya.
