the guy on the tdm was better going through the corners, all the road lines were better and bike positioning etc. but when people push you to faster and try to keep up thats when the fun goes, and becomes dangerous for the less experienced riders.

not really, I owned one, I'm 6'1'' and it was really hard to get comfortable or in a racing position, it is a sports bike for shorter people

This what riding is all about. Steady riding,having fun. Neither rider is riding beyond his limits. TDM 900 owner myself. Big twins growl when you wide them up, 4 cyl squeel like they are being killed. Ride within YOUR limits and have fun. Easy Life....

Deffinitely what it's all about, can't wait until the weather gets a bit better then me and my flatmates are taking our bikes out for a little holiday. Great riding like that, and I wish I could find someone who was willing to do it with me - hopfully my flatmates are those people :D

I think that vfr400 can keep up with 900ss.

The Ducati has much more torque, but those 4 cyl

400s accelerate fast and are much lighter.

Surely the 900ss is a bit faster overall but if

you just ride and not race eachother you will be fine and have lots of fun

What is the 400's acceleration like. I have a ducati 900ss and my mate might be getting a vfr400. Im wondering if he will have any trouble keeping up with me due to the amount of torque that my bike has. Im generally a steady rider so i dont end up riping the center of the tyre out and making the bike handle horribly but when i get in higher gears, im not sure if i can ride normally or would i have to be extra gentle on the throttle for him to stay with me.Corners are best part of riding for me

hi dude. Ive tidden a few 400s and if your mate buys into the 400 riding style, there should be no problems. vfrs are generally one of the quicker 400s with the V4 engine giving more torque than a para 4. if he doesnt keep up on the straights, he'll be sniffing your tailpipe in the twisties

He couldnt keep with me in the corners on a 125 in the really tight corners. I think he would need to realie on power mostly as his not experienced enough. My 900 feels as light as a 250 where its so well balanced. I think its 185kg. suits the way i ride really well and i rode a gsxr750 streetfighter and my duc had much more acceleration than it had. Not the top end speed though. My bike has a car carb from a lamborgini and it seems to have more punch than newer models. Probably due to emitions.

Im more of a believer in rider skills rather than the bike. The 400 has nice linear power delivery (which is tractable), which is the same as my bike. good grip and drive from the corners and getting the power down. My bike is very controlable in power delivery with the power pulses and hugh amounts of acceleration and can literally run the twisties in 1 gear. The speeds my duc will corner at are insane and its too good for the road. if you rode my bike and got used to it, you would be suprized.

tdm rider has a slight tendency to cut corners. Better take a proper ride course, dude !

Yepp. Nice video. Btw, You got a little slow shifting technique. Don't let the rev to fall back that seriously. And give the engine a little gas, before shifting back.
