hey dude, I have all the gba games of pokemon :) I also have diamond and 2 platnums lol. I was going out to buy the pearl version but I bought the platnuim again by accident :\ and I just bought the soul silver version. So, as you can see, I can access all the pokemon I want :D

I loaded my diamond with all the pokemon from my gba;'s and I've got like 20+ lvl 100's and a sht load of shinys.

You also forgot to mention that you can catch a shiny gyrados in rage lake :)

@trainerdor i completed the game 2 i got all kanto starters and 2 hoenn starters and i got rayquaza lv.100 and i beated red only whit my ryquaza shiny (red) gyarados and thyplosion

Anyway, I have wanted to buy HeartGold since it came out, but I got a message stating it can't be shipped to my address. I could have used another site, but I didn't.

And I don't plan on buying the game either, personally I don't see the point. I already own Gold, and I don't see any major differences between Gold and HeartGold.

@BlazikenMaster Battle frontier, twice as many legendary pokes, better wifi (which I know your not interested in) pokewalker (which I love because I love running and the idea of having pokemon on hand), improved story, alot better character development than you see in the usual pokemon (you even team up with your rival at one point to fend off claire and lance). Plus and lastly, Red with light orb volt tackle pikachu, lol.

On HG&SS u can also get Rayquaza if u get both Groudon and Kyogre. Kyogre FTW!

My friend was walking on the grass and he found Mew.

On SS u get Latios, on HG u get Latias.

The game was kind of cruddy for the fact that the wild pokemon were weak as hell,

wich made training super hard, plus the gym leaders wer also weak (first 8).

Storyline was kind of two short since when u reach Kanto its just beat leaders and

that was it.

It was a great game despite those flaws, so u should still buy it!

the fight with red was really hard. all of my pokemon were like 63 or 65. instead of using revives i used the rivivel herbs. but i dont think you had to get all 16 badges to get ho-oh since i was let through with only 12

hey dude after you beat red you can meet professor oak and steven(who is in the silph co. building) and get 1 starter from both of them each from a differnt regions
