honestly pain is a really good indicator of whether something is hurting you. When i put my iphone to my ear, i get a pain in my actual eardrum area within seconds.. @Taylaron1 Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust to correct you. There are only about 7 billions people on the planet. The mild stomach aches are probably more caused by the stress that A LOT of people experience everyday. The diet, stress level, and physical activities are what can cause such problems.
The FCC found no adverse effects on animal testing with cell phones. They stated that cancer due to cell phones was highly unlikely. The limit to transmitting power for a phone is less than 1.6w legally. fones of the 90's transmit power was 3.6w or more. Fones today only have about 0.6w or less.

the frequencies stimulate parts of the brain when they pass through, this helps cause a sensation like hearing a high pitched noise or so I am told. this makes sense since you cannot plug your ears and make it go away. Emf occurs in certain geographic locations but not in others, whereas tinnitus stays with you wherever you go.

However EMF ringing sounds different, and is documented to exist, by measuring with gauss meters and other equipment. see emwatch (dot) com for starters, or google it before you make a fool of yourself on this board while calling others stupid- when YOU are the ignorant one.
and jlaw666, people cannot "pick up" rf with their brains, that is just rubbish. RF passes right through people due to its wavelength. I have a computer case that gives out a lot of rf due to a glass panel in the side, and I regularly have it near to my head when I open it up, it makes a noise, but not in your head. It might mean you get bad radio reception though.
SOME can most certainly hear the high pitched sounds , and it's not stopped by earplugs. it literally feels like it is in your head, and in fact it DOES enter and pass through your brain. so stop being an a** and denying this fact! it causes brain cancer! the research has been done!

people can actually pick up radio frequencies with their brains, happened to me last night for the first time, except it wasn't radio it was my computer and fan, i woke up hearing the worst sound i've ever heard and sure enough it went away after i turned off the computer and fan
wow fox news people are so stupid. Electromagnetic fields dont effect anything. Its just a magnetic field. The earth emits magnetic field and we live in it. yes there are always effect of excessive of everything including this report making everything look scary.
@xtremerace I'll agree that FoxNews is a scare agency, but cell phone radiation is REAL. Cell phones are radio transmitters which people are holding to their heads for hours on end. Would you lay your head on your microwave? The waves generated by cell phones are not much lower than that used to nuke food.
There's this company that installed wireless networks in there business, and some of the staff complained of headaches from the transmitters. So the technician went and supposedly turned the wireless stations off - but what he did was turn off the LEDs on them - to make them look off. Suddenly - the people who were complaining claimed the headaches went away soon after...
It wasn't a news story. It was an account from another IT tech that I met online. He could've just made the whole thing up. but at the same time, I generally agree that the risks are not as trumped up as they are made out to be.
Where's being bathed all the time in 60 Hz fields from the electrical grid - and people aren't in an uproar over that.
EMF's don't permanently effect your health, it only applies to the area. I think that these people on the video are getting EMF's mixed up with EMR fields, which can be a very serious biohazard.
In short: Run all the damn electricity you want, just don't spend too much time near a toxic waste dump. :P
people who are saying this is bs in my opinion are so Dependant on them that they try to defend them by saying its not true, if its proven eventually the government will have to do something
im still confused about all this, i mean if it were true that all this radiation is bad for us then surly we should all be dead now as all the things being used in this news report has been used for many many years think of the micro-wave that gives out more radiation than any lap top or phone n yet no one has died from it unless there used wrong. but nearly every house hold has one n people are still living a long heathly life.
plenty of people get cancer, some die, and pets were killed by microwaves leaking into the room in the past....the info is out there but you might have to search since the corporate industry cleans up google and gets rid of the bad reports against their products. one biggie is autism in children born within last few years, increased like 3x more than the past with cell or wifi usage.
@xsjad0man Do you know anyone who rests their head on their microwave? If so, maybe they need to be admitted to a psyche ward. Yet, cell phones use a frequency about five-hundred Mhz lower than a microwave, and people place the "phone" (mini radio transmitter) against their head for hours on end. The phones may not produce high voltage energy, but their signal can travel for MILES. Studies have shown that cellular use can cause effects similar to inebriation.
the wireless industry spends billions every year to keep us in the dark about this issue, and the government is making a pile of cash leasing the rights to the ariwaves. Studies not funded by the wireless industry are 900% more likely to show negative health effects.
yeah like trying to save peoples lives and get the truth out unlike the cell and wifi corporations who are obviously out for the profits to make off of their loyal worshippers like yourself.
We now enter a digital age of natural selection. If you can't cope with high energy electromagnetic waves... you are eliminated.. all part of evolution :)
@supersal001 You almost got it right regarding natural selection, however, the people who actually think and avoid radiation will survive.. that is how the evolution goes :)
@supersal001 Evolution is not integrating with the digital age. We are taught that because most of us are not aware of our own energies....In our natural state we will evolve when we are in tune with the soul...We depend too much on technology & unfortunately this will be our downfall. The digital age is devolution not evolution. Embrace all you have within you & you will evolve. Be blessed
@supersal001lol, purposely exposing yourself to harm knowing that you will get painfully sick is not natural selection its something known as SHEER STUPIDITY
I remember I got an upset stomach playing my gameboy in about 1994 I think playing Bionic Commando.
But I do believe even though the radiation levels on the phones today are a tad bit lower than what you might expect..... It's like pollution contolled vehicles the first car emits to much polution until now a days cellphone manufactures learned to control it a tad bit.
Cars do have much lower emissions than they used to. But there are loads of them. And we have high levels of pollution-related illness in society. Even if forms of radiation that have been only recently used on a large scale, for commercial purposes, have a slight effect per exposure, lots of people are still receiving exposure on lots of occasions, so research into the health impact of that environment is vital.
emf stands for electromotive force. this is mis-education. Also, much of the "emf" that comes from a laptop, for instance, is electromagnetic energy derived from the heating of the device. Ignorance is funny.
No. Media sensationalism to scare is not funny. Of course, this is basic electrical spiel can be explained in grade school, it's embarrassing to see how people take to this nonsense.
The future concerning electromotive forces may prove to be fatal one day. Until then, BS!!
you are ignorant then, because you don't realize that EMF or other initials often have more than one application, that is,in different industries they mean different things. Since we are talking about ElectroMagnetic Frequencies, that is what it means in this discussion and is the accepted abbreviation in this category.
I gave up my cell phone awhile ago. I'll have one that I'm getting that will be used in an emergency manner for my car. It will be kept off with no batteries unless I need it. Why do people need to be connected 24/7 to everyone else. not to mention you can be tracked via GPS with your phone...sure no one prob. will track you. But thats not the point.
I know what thig guy is talkign about. After living in house near to cellular antenna for year I can give my right hand out to support him in his words. I think people have to know more about all this.
Many people dont accept true words - this is pretty natral. They want to see victims - dead people. A lot of dead bodies with tags "Microwave Radiation Killed Him". Then and only then they will change their position.
But now we should have some information in the air - for those who can read and understand and accept it to act and protect themselves and their families.
use whatever is left from ur brain and read a book explaining what u are doing to yourself with all the radiation the computer is giving off, it takes time to see the results from all the waves, these results come in form of cancer which i am sure you will get in a little while
I use high quality hifi grade mains and signal cables for tv, dvd player and recorder, games console, hifi, laptop, wireless router and cordless phone. And I can tell you they work 100% at reducing fatigue.
no its not but i dought that other than uv x-rays gama-rays other forms of raiation arn't going to chause much problem! lol "can cause serious problems... unset stomach, heart burn..."
Do corporate five year profit targets take into consideration your health? Ask the tobacco industry. If you think the tobacco industry is an anomaly ask yourself why you would make that assumption. Corporate business models do not change in any significant degree depending upon the product sold.
Here is the truth KiaSHAMED...world health organisation likens EMF to DDT and Lead Poisoning...is a major carcinogen and did you know that in the past 20 years, Brain Cancer has risen 40% (source Dr Charlie Teo-Brain Surgeon) THATS THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you know 2 cells phones close together can boil an egg in 20 minutes? Did you know certain frequencies can have mind altering effects and it's been proven by the government?
First of all, the two phones trick has been debunked. Secondly, you are correct about mind altering Hz, but none of these products even come closethe the GHz that you need to alter brain chemistry. The docor in this video is a quack...
Good for you, Judging by the the doctors that I have had to deal with in the last ten years or so I have to say that the Label Doctor doesn't really impress me any more. Much more arrogance than ability in my experience.
So is she I am not saying that I agree with her but hearing some "Doctor" calling an other one Quack is not very impressive. In fact It is meaningless.
The only reason I am calling this "Doctor" a "quack" is because he is alarming people for no reason. I wonder how much they paid him to appear in this video? I agree with you about doctors. Most are arrogant and I am depressed about the direction of medicine today. This video is an excellent example of my plight. I wonder if this "Doctor" is a scientologist as well?
Yes I agree the waters have been muddied pretty thoroughly. I highly doubt this bauble has any merit and I can see your point about the doctor but I do think that the jury is still out as to weather wireless technology is dangerous or not. We need thorough objective research if that is possible in todays environment of corporate political supremacy. I am rushing here so forgive any errors on my post. Thanks for your answer kiashamed. Cheers.
Yes, this is microwave radiation, which causes molecules to vibrate faster and create heat through friction. These devices are not cancerus unless you literally cook your brain, and they do not have enough power to knock electrons off atoms, which would be IONIZING. This video is simply creating panic and should be taken off. The person who posted this is obviously an alarmest...
interesting documentation source. Does that mean the so call scammer Kevin Treadu on natural cures, is not a scammer? if so the mass media should apologize. Even though he did say don't buy x' meaning corp. profits goes down and employee layoff
f*cking computers of course dangerous.when i am writing this text, radiation being spreaded from monitor is passing into my eyes.probably,i or my descendants will have eyes problem in return of this action.now, big technology companies keep the secret away from people. coz there is no long term reasearch showing side effects of radiation and signal, spreaded by devices.if there is,money got them...in conclusion;get away from computer as much as you can.
keep your computer at least 60cm away from you. that helps. also use a flatscreen not a crt monitor that makes a lot less radiation i read. distance helps this problem. also for cell phones, use a headset, a special kind, and keep your phone several feet away. use only for emergencies not stuck in your ear all the time. don'f give kids cell phones, they are more vulnerable.
ill believe it when every1 starts droping dead. i mean come theres so many different things that are bad 4 us yet we keep on livin. ill keep an open mind about electro sensatity tho.
ok there is no fucking way i am getting arid of my computer just because of that. But i do spend lot and lots like 5-9 hours on the computer and i sometime do get chest pains so idc the main point is that i am not giveing up mu computer because of some damm pains!
What a load of crap, this is just an advert to promote the sales of the so called Q link.
People should me more concerned about the natural more powerfull sources of magnetism and radiation that bombards our bodies every second of our lives.
I am a vegetarian, who exercises and uses sun screen, but I have to say I am not sure if I could live with no TV, no microwave, no computer and no cell phone. I might as well build a hut and live in the woods ;-)
Lets see, we are living longer, but i would not say that people are healthier: highest obesity rate, depression, suicide, heart, cancer, and general emotional, cognitive, psychological disorders, over the past 40 years, and growing. Yeah, its not slamming technology and the cool things about it, just mentioning that theres tons of magnetic radiations surrounding us. Thats a fact.
I like the fact that this important service announcement was beamed into me through the radiation extending from the electromagnetic forces emanating from my monitor...
so lets see, in the past 100 years the number of electrical devices in the average home in America has gone from less than 1 to over 100, yet we're living longer and healthier now than ever! gee, could it be this TERRIBLE new technology is keeping us alive? ban it i say! let's live as we did in dark ages! (throws away computer)
"EMF" is an acronym for "electromagnetic force." No legitimate scientist would use this acronym otherwise. That "Q-link" contraption totally blows the credibility of this video.
@cobainzlady I see. So, "EMF," in this case, means "eat more fish." By the way, if you're going to criticize me for the way I use English, at least capitalize the first words in your sentences.
But the thing is as Nikola Tesla was studying these he noticed that the wireless technology had a frequency of all natural organiisms, which could totally screw em up. He foresaw all this, while the govenrment took it into secret, and was careful to release it to go towards its agenda for total control slowly and to make sure it harmed the population. Why? Overpopulation, so called. check out the first commandment of the NWO monument.
Wireless headsets like blue tooth may be worse then the cell phone itself. As the transmitter is soo close to your head and always communicating. Wireless networks are also a concern as well as wireless home phones.
Yes there talking about all high-end frequencies, like the ones that can go though our body and disrupt our cellular process. But how come we're living longer? I mean, I've seen some healthy olds who lived with radio waves going though there body before they where born, and they live to be 80 or 90 or 100. So my question is this, How much dose this matter? Anyone can anwer that.
regular radio waves from radio towers are not only different, but may be much further away than these wifi and cell towers and relays which are on every street corner. distance matters. height matters, as emf waves often travel horizontally not vertically. radio towers for old style radio stations are usually very tall and on hills and far away.
There are solutions like using a quality phone with speaker phone so you aren't so close or spending the extra money to get a blue tooth headset with a blue tooth phone.. Platonic's 500 is the only one that works well soo far OR if you can't afford a nice cell phone go to Rfsafe DOT com for RF safe headsets. Wireless headset practically emit zero radiation .
WOW "electro-magnetic frequencies" are dangerous? I think I hear my first year electrical prof screaming in pain, knowing that somewhere a travesty against science has been carried out but unable to pinpoint its precise location. Why on earth don't any news agencies have actual science reporting instead of this terror-flavoured pablum?
The EMF propagating from consumer electronics are EXTREMELY WEAK and drop off exponentially over distance. Somebody should give Faux News an award for extreme scientific misstatements and absolute fear mongering in order to scare people into watching their "news" for important information about how they can protect themselves. Dr. Robert Blake is an idiot and I highly doubt he is a doctor in ANYTHING.
@redbeast2 It all depends. ALL electronic devices put off RF radiation. The question is, what level of exposure is dangerous. We know that radiation disrupts cell activity, (radiation therapy shows that). We just don't know how much radiation the body can deal with, and what level of exposure is "safe". I know that cell phone radiation gives me a headache, and therefor have discontinued using one.
This is completely wrong. First of all EMF stands for Electromagnetic FIELD! NOT FREQUENCY. EMFs are the fields created by magnets, both natural magnets and electromagnets. When the cellphone rings, the meter jumps up and down wildly because the cellphone's speaker is a MAGNET itself. When it gives off sound the magnet is energized and thus the meter is set off. EMFs are absolutely not harmful in regulated short exposures.
They define EMF incorrectly as "electromagnetic frequencies" and this quack of a "Doctor" also refers to them as "frequencies". They show these meters going wild but don't say what frequency bands the meters are measuring. Visible light is a form of electromagnetic wave, and yes, we are bombarded by light every day. This news report relies on the "feelings" of a single tae kwon do instructor as evidence of harm. While there may be health implications of radio waves, this report is useless.
Ah, yes, we are bombarded by harmless light - stay out in the "harmless" sunlight for 5-6 hours in July without sunscreen an get back to me ;-)
The danger may not be as dire as they make it seem - TV news is all about sensationalism, after all - but I still use a hands-free set, just in case...
I like how you're incorrectly quoting me as saying "harmless" when I never used that word.
And I hope you realize it's the sun's ultraviolet waves that are damaging our skin-- waves which are on the opposite end of the EM spectrum from the radio waves we're talking about.
Why is it always someone trying to sell some device reporting that wireless is dangerous? Oh yeah, b/c they want to sell you the device.

HAM radio also known as amateur radio, with giant antenna with tall tower in your neighbourhood. can produce 2500 more radiation than cell phone.
Ham radio are 1500 watts and effective radiation power can be nearly 15,000 watts or more. most powerful microwave oven are 1200 watts as comparison.

im still confused about all this, i mean if it were true that all this radiation is bad for us then surly we should all be dead now as all the things being used in this news report has been used for many many years think of the micro-wave that gives out more radiation than any lap top or phone n yet no one has died from it unless there used wrong. but nearly every house hold has one n people are still living a long heathly life.

Cell phones haven't been around that long. Also, they don't really hurt you. People are full of sht.
snerjeck 2 years ago
@xsjad0man
plenty of people get cancer, some die, and pets were killed by microwaves leaking into the room in the past....the info is out there but you might have to search since the corporate industry cleans up google and gets rid of the bad reports against their products. one biggie is autism in children born within last few years, increased like 3x more than the past with cell or wifi usage.
cobainzlady 1 year ago
@xsjad0man Do you know anyone who rests their head on their microwave? If so, maybe they need to be admitted to a psyche ward. Yet, cell phones use a frequency about five-hundred Mhz lower than a microwave, and people place the "phone" (mini radio transmitter) against their head for hours on end. The phones may not produce high voltage energy, but their signal can travel for MILES. Studies have shown that cellular use can cause effects similar to inebriation.
VideoGuyNC 1 year ago
the wireless industry spends billions every year to keep us in the dark about this issue, and the government is making a pile of cash leasing the rights to the ariwaves. Studies not funded by the wireless industry are 900% more likely to show negative health effects.

Be blessed

Jaydeeman20 3 years ago
Cars do have much lower emissions than they used to. But there are loads of them. And we have high levels of pollution-related illness in society. Even if forms of radiation that have been only recently used on a large scale, for commercial purposes, have a slight effect per exposure, lots of people are still receiving exposure on lots of occasions, so research into the health impact of that environment is vital.

emf stands for electromotive force. this is mis-education. Also, much of the "emf" that comes from a laptop, for instance, is electromagnetic energy derived from the heating of the device. Ignorance is funny.
quidproquo2004 3 years ago
No. Media sensationalism to scare is not funny. Of course, this is basic electrical spiel can be explained in grade school, it's embarrassing to see how people take to this nonsense.
The future concerning electromotive forces may prove to be fatal one day. Until then, BS!!
isata88 2 years ago
@quidproquo2004
you are ignorant then, because you don't realize that EMF or other initials often have more than one application, that is,in different industries they mean different things. Since we are talking about ElectroMagnetic Frequencies, that is what it means in this discussion and is the accepted abbreviation in this category.

So is she I am not saying that I agree with her but hearing some "Doctor" calling an other one Quack is not very impressive. In fact It is meaningless.
OscarLimaMike 3 years ago
The only reason I am calling this "Doctor" a "quack" is because he is alarming people for no reason. I wonder how much they paid him to appear in this video? I agree with you about doctors. Most are arrogant and I am depressed about the direction of medicine today. This video is an excellent example of my plight. I wonder if this "Doctor" is a scientologist as well?
kiashamed 3 years ago
Yes I agree the waters have been muddied pretty thoroughly. I highly doubt this bauble has any merit and I can see your point about the doctor but I do think that the jury is still out as to weather wireless technology is dangerous or not. We need thorough objective research if that is possible in todays environment of corporate political supremacy. I am rushing here so forgive any errors on my post. Thanks for your answer kiashamed. Cheers.
OscarLimaMike 3 years ago
@kiashamed the effect of the emf is on the cell dna and other function, not really so much brain chemistry directly. maybe as a result.

THis type of energy is NON-IONIZING. THe doctor is a quack..
kiashamed 4 years ago
I agree with you. Non ionizing radiation can cause RF burns though.
KB1KOI 4 years ago
Yes, this is microwave radiation, which causes molecules to vibrate faster and create heat through friction. These devices are not cancerus unless you literally cook your brain, and they do not have enough power to knock electrons off atoms, which would be IONIZING. This video is simply creating panic and should be taken off. The person who posted this is obviously an alarmest...

Oh my science at least there are some people who know that non-ionizing waves aren't carcinogenic.

f*cking computers of course dangerous.when i am writing this text, radiation being spreaded from monitor is passing into my eyes.probably,i or my descendants will have eyes problem in return of this action.now, big technology companies keep the secret away from people. coz there is no long term reasearch showing side effects of radiation and signal, spreaded by devices.if there is,money got them...in conclusion;get away from computer as much as you can.

keep your computer at least 60cm away from you. that helps. also use a flatscreen not a crt monitor that makes a lot less radiation i read. distance helps this problem. also for cell phones, use a headset, a special kind, and keep your phone several feet away. use only for emergencies not stuck in your ear all the time. don'f give kids cell phones, they are more vulnerable.

Wireless networks are also a concern as well as wireless home phones.
domi1928 5 years ago
what about wireless networks...?
videochick770 5 years ago
Yes there talking about all high-end frequencies, like the ones that can go though our body and disrupt our cellular process. But how come we're living longer? I mean, I've seen some healthy olds who lived with radio waves going though there body before they where born, and they live to be 80 or 90 or 100. So my question is this, How much dose this matter? Anyone can anwer that.
teekeegod 4 years ago
Because this is non-ionizing radiation. It's like standing near your microwave. There is no truth to this video.
kiashamed 4 years ago
@teekeegod
regular radio waves from radio towers are not only different, but may be much further away than these wifi and cell towers and relays which are on every street corner. distance matters. height matters, as emf waves often travel horizontally not vertically. radio towers for old style radio stations are usually very tall and on hills and far away.
cobainzlady 1 year ago
There are solutions like using a quality phone with speaker phone so you aren't so close or spending the extra money to get a blue tooth headset with a blue tooth phone.. Platonic's 500 is the only one that works well soo far OR if you can't afford a nice cell phone go to Rfsafe DOT com for RF safe headsets. Wireless headset practically emit zero radiation .

WOW "electro-magnetic frequencies" are dangerous? breatheasy7000 5 years ago
The EMF propagating from consumer electronics are EXTREMELY WEAK and drop off exponentially over distance. Somebody should give Faux News an award for extreme scientific misstatements and absolute fear mongering in order to scare people into watching their "news" for important information about how they can protect themselves. Dr. Robert Blake is an idiot and I highly doubt he is a doctor in ANYTHING.
redbeast2 5 years ago
@redbeast2
but if you hold your laptop on your lap, then you are going to get a high dose of radiation.
cobainzlady 1 year ago
@cobainzlady
What kind of radiation, exactly, are you going to get from your laptop?
redbeast2 1 year ago
@redbeast2 It all depends. ALL electronic devices put off RF radiation. The question is, what level of exposure is dangerous. We know that radiation disrupts cell activity, (radiation therapy shows that). We just don't know how much radiation the body can deal with, and what level of exposure is "safe". I know that cell phone radiation gives me a headache, and therefor have discontinued using one.
VideoGuyNC 1 year ago
@VideoGuyNC
RF = radio frequency?
redbeast2 1 year ago
This is completely wrong. First of all EMF stands for Electromagnetic FIELD! NOT FREQUENCY. EMFs are the fields created by magnets, both natural magnets and electromagnets. When the cellphone rings, the meter jumps up and down wildly because the cellphone's speaker is a MAGNET itself. When it gives off sound the magnet is energized and thus the meter is set off. EMFs are absolutely not harmful in regulated short exposures.
redbeast2 5 years ago
They define EMF incorrectly as "electromagnetic frequencies" and this quack of a "Doctor" also refers to them as "frequencies". They show these meters going wild but don't say what frequency bands the meters are measuring. Visible light is a form of electromagnetic wave, and yes, we are bombarded by light every day. This news report relies on the "feelings" of a single tae kwon do instructor as evidence of harm. While there may be health implications of radio waves, this report is useless.
praetis 5 years ago
Ah, yes, we are bombarded by harmless light - stay out in the "harmless" sunlight for 5-6 hours in July without sunscreen an get back to me ;-)
