I agree with what else you said, the USMC always seemed less professional than RM to me, but my pov would be biased (brit) and the differences in operations will affect that as USMC is larger than entire British Army. I reckon RM equate more to Seals tbh, cos the US split the specialisations of their SFs more no? i.e. Seal Team 5, Navy demolitions etc,. Whereas Brit SF are just SBS and SAS as we have far less manpower

@cjeam9199 I mean the general marine corps needs to follow the lead of the RMC. reason, 1. their smaller more effective 2. more specialized 3. better quality fighting. with this in mind the marine corps does have highly specialized units that are of the RMC quality standard. but over all i mean. also, To compare the RMC to the seals is an insult to the RMC. the seals are sloppy and they can jump out of planes all day but their still to cocky, like USMC snipers, way to cocky

Royal marine commandos and US marines have different objectives so you can not even compare them. Royal marines are specialsts in beach asault(but can do everything) where as the US marine do everything too just as well.

Major and some colonels in Force Recon RmC and the sgt. major was so impressed he gave me the beret he was wearing. So I would try to wear it and get told to take it off. I was so proud of that beret. That's why these shit talkers attitude surprise me. What u in?

@Wootcannon I am and always will be a Marine, I was in one of the first troops to cross the Iraqi border. Alpha 1/5, I've killed men and was in the 2 top firefights in the Iraqi conflict to this day. I was hit directly with 2 rockets, I made it into scout snipers who have a 96% drop rate in the first 3 days. I have nothing but respect for RMC and feel very little need to prove anything to RMC, as far as that goes, we had to bail you out from the Japs. Our reputation speaks for itself.
