It'd be near perfect if you tilted the entire tablet to match your hand angle.

I have windows 7 and it says "no pen and touch input is available for this display" on the information window, if I get this bamboo pen + touch, will it not work? :-S :-(

hey i want to now if the wacom bamboo pen works pretty nice while using programs like illustrator cs3 and photoshop and for the animations... it is sensible do the pressure?? like if i apply to much pressure on the table with the pen, the stroke will be bigger or smaller? i am looking for a pen table for my animations and sketchs in adobe illustrator and i dont know if i must buy pen or pen &touch becouse i dont care about the zoom in photos and stuff like. waiting for an answer :) best regards

my terrible story:

I just started drawing manga, actually CG, so I ordered one wacom pen tablet from the internet.. BUT after 3 hours, an email arrived sayin that i ordered a version thats expired and will never be published again! LOL

it was the one with a scroll.. thing.. that also did zoom in..

Anyways! Now i ordered a newer "pen tablet", still non touch, and i am waiting for it to arrive on monday = )

How is the space for drawing? When you made the drawing, did that take up most of the tablet?

And also, does the tablet know where your pen is even when It's not on the tablet? Cuz it looked like that in the video.

@Namae94 it has1024, you probably got confused because there is a cheaper version, called "bamboo pen" (this one is bamboo pen and touch) that doesn't have the touch functions, that one has 512 levels. check carefully when you buy

You can only know what the shop is selling you by LOOKING at the tablet's picture itself. Hopefully. This is because this is the new version of the device. There is at least one older version. This version does 512.

Oh I just saw the other guy's reply that it does 1024 unlike the 'pen' version. My bad. I actually BOUGHT the thing, thou I thought it was 512. Reviewers say beyond 512 it doesn't matter.

Unfortunantely I bought P&T version week ago XD I think, I heard somewhere, that there's no diffrence between 512 and 1024, but it's been so long ago, that I didn't remember it at all O__o

Anyway, I have to say, that this tablet is great! Drawing comfort is just incomparable with mouse(yeaah, very original opinion...)
