  • Hmmm... not bad, but I think this song is faster

  • Ok you people don't understand... Tempo markings are more than just recommendations... If you don't follow tempo markings, pitch, mood, and lyrical meaning can be thrown out the window. This was a perfect example. The pitch wandered, parts were unpleasingly dragged out, it was much darker than it should have been, and the lyrics don't hold the same meaning.

  • It sounds better at this pace. I sang it at this pace(but an all women choir) and it gives the audience time to enjoy and HEAR the french. Not just whip through it. Good job guys! :]

  • I honestly like the song at this pace a whole lot better... Haha. It sounds really nice.

  • This song was meant to be much faster, but I am GRATEFUL to have finally found a slower version. I just got the peace for District Chorus and I'm trying to get a feel for it without drowning! Thanks.

  • i wish my instructor would let us sing it this pace! lol

  • @xxTH3CUT3STxx haha right? We're still just trying to get words to music and he's making us go suuper fast.

  • I love it! It's really, reeeally slow......And for a second I thought this was a slowdown video, because people's motions are sluggish too.....It's a completely different mood than the song was written to create, but I love it!

  • i dont know what you are talking about but none of the words are mispronounced here. it will sound a little different then modern french because it was written in the sixtenth century. and it should be sang faster but i have heard slower.

  • This song was meant to be MUCH faster, at least twice this speed.

Other than that, and the mispronunciation of some of the french words, not bad at all.

  • Wow...maybe you should consider listening to something that you're good at. Life is short...

  • I got a 1 at state in a 4-person ensemble, I can sing Bass and Tenor parts, and I know the other two parts.

Did you miss the part where I said "not bad"?

  • WOW...is you wee-wee o-k?

  • I agree that song was meant to be much faster but they are good!!!^_^

  • Nice a capella!

I loved the end cord! I'm singing this song in high school this year, and it's pretty fun. :D Our version is a little slower. In ours, one half note gets the beat @ 144 beats per minute. This version seemed a bit faster. Great job!!

  • @Nightstalkertim it's supposed to be fast. (:
