edf jets are very heartbreaking. they are great once you learn to set your own up and once you have it perfect you'll hot dog it into 95 mph worth of packing pellets and lipo smoke. But in the end you get another one and do it all over again.

I think you were too close to ground for a roll. Especially with a trainer. Those wings are too big to roll fast and not enough aileron surface or the throw. 200 flights are awesome if you ask me. Time for you to move on to a more aerobatic plane anyway. Looks like, you like to fly like me, make sharp turns and rolls and loops and stuff. so low wing flyer is the way to go.

That reminds me of when I put a 53 in my trainer, turned up all the throws.... it would knife edge, stall turn, almost anything, except go through a tree on full throttle and come out in one piece the other side :) Good flying while it lasted, I know how you felt when it stopped flying :)

just to add, the engine was stripped, cleaned, and was put into another plane and was running as sweet as ever!...great engine the thunder tiger!!!.

wings tore into a tree, had to dig the thunder tigre 40 out with a claw hammer!.
