hey jared i would like u to know that the picture on my profile is the original and is unedited. this is the actual view i get standing off the back of my porch in the summer time if u cud message me to see more that would be awesome maybe one day when u are not busy
I have a D40 that I bought in 2006, I've been off auto since 05/07/2011 and I will never go back. Amazing. It still gets kind of itchy on low light situations but I've got my lens list worked out and will be starting with that in a couple months. Anytime I wander what the hell to do I just ask myself WWJPD?
Lithium-Ion batteries do not require a full discharge/recharge. These batteries have a finite number of "full charge cycles" meaning dis-charging the battery half way, re-charging, dis-charging half way again and re-charging is actually 1 single charge cycle .
This is a benefit of the internal charge circuitry built into all Lithium-Ion batteries,
the full discharge/re-charge cycle you are recommending is more suited to Nickel-Cadmium and Nickel-Metal hydride batteries due to "memory effect".
thank you for your videos...this is exactly what i need...the very basics since im new to the dslr's and i got a nikon d3000...just waiting for it to arrive...your videos are the ones most helpful...good job!
Hi Jared, thank you, thank you, thank you, at long last YOU are doing something people need and have been waiting for I learned alot from Doms sites but people have to start with the basics and we all cant buy the top of the range equipment I have a nikon d80 and 18-200 thats it. If your ever in Dublin, Ireland ill buy you as much Guinness as you can drink also I sniff things to cheers.
Love your videos. Even if you're comfortable with the basics, I'm glad that you're starting at ultra-beginning to ensure no steps are missed in your training plan. Kudos and keep it up! Got a new D5000 and new to the DSLR field - glad to have your videos available to help me out.
love the background.

For those who don't have LightRoom3 to tether their camera to the computer, you can try this program from
diyphotobits . com
It's great for stop-motion pics, too. It's free =)
