I could not last the first few episodes of this series. I read a little of the manga, the art style and animation looked really promising, but I was hopelessly bored.

As a general rule of thumb, if the first episode of a tv series does not adequately explain the premise of the show, it's story is gonna suck.

It's the first episode that's supposed to pull you in and make you want to see what happens next. Because you're interested, not at a total lack of comprehension.

I don't think there will be a second season of the anime. I mean, there SHOULD be, but they REALLY screwed up the ending, I'm not sure if they'll be able to go fix it enough to follow the original plot :/

That being said, I don't think Oz and Alice will ever kiss. It would be bad for the plot if they did.

Also, I'm not sure if they would be able to adequately anime certain things that have been happening lately. If there was a season two, it would not be of any considerable quality.

@GuidaHi12 In a nutshell, Pandora Hearts is an anime based on Alice in Wonderland. A young boy, Oz Besarius, is banished to the abyss, a prison in another dimension, for his "sins" by shinigami. He then meets a girl named Alice who is a chain, or evil soul born in the abyss, and they escape together. They then meet up with members of Pandora, a secret organization that protects people from the Abyss, and they work under them in order to find Alice's lost memory and discover Oz's sin. :)

(I personally think Alice/Gilbert is an intriguing one.) Oh, and there's someone that Ada really likes, but you'll have to read the manga to find out. >=]

It looks like its drawn by a different artist than the actual anime though too. So I dunno. I loved this anime, I think they did a pretty good job at mixing the freaky darkness and humor well, plus the plot line can actually do a pretty good job at holding your attention. The only thing I don't like is the insane amount of power everyone seems to have... and then there's Oz. But I like Oz, so I guess it's cool. Just wish he could have some way to protect himself a little bit!
