@itsTiffanny Worked perfectly. I have a white FLIP ULTRA-no option to charge (battery powered only). First problem was disk indicating FULL though all videos were downloaded. Re-formatted (thanks to another youtube video) but still wouldn't turn on w/power button. It did beep when connected. Tried Tiffany's suggestion to plug in w/o batteries while plugged in, then safely ejecting. Now have a perfectly working FLIP with 100% space available on which to record! Thanks, Tiffany.

My Flip doesn't let you take the battery out and whenever I plug it in to my computer either A: nothing happens B: It turns on but it goes to the recording screen like it's not plugged in or C: a screen pops up that says "connected" but it still doesn't charge, flipshare doesn't come up on my computer, and then B happens. I got this camera in January and it has been working fine until today. Help! What do I do?

the USB being pluged in is not necessary you can simply unplug the battery for a couple minutes and then put it back in and it should work fine. if you record a bunch of short clips it will kill the batttery or the battery life will appear to shorten, you can fix this when this issue arises by turning it on hitting record and just let it run till it's empty do that a couple times deleting the video each time and it will recondition the battery

Another thing that worked for me was jsut to plug it in to your computer, you don't have to take the cover off or anything, and just leave your computer on

That is pure bull stuff, the regular flip video works fine accept it doesn't hold battery charge that long, but for this, it doesn't even charge and it's suppose to be better

i feel sorry for u. u look so sad :( and it is a frustrating voice. how bot u get a new back up batery, and the one ure using now trim/cut the plastic off a little on the bottom of battery. Well it works on me though..
