Thanks for telling our story. It has been untold far too long. It is a remarkable story of young 20 year old pilots and crewman experiencing the fullness of life with all its joy and all its darkness. It changed who I was forever. Perhaps others will better understand the man I came to be as a result of this story.
I was with the 5th Specil Forces 67 68 69 72.If it was not for the 170th coming in after 1st air cav. tried to pick up me & my spotter up left us behind because of ground fire. These mens choppers came in 5 hours later & got us out I would not be here. I'll never forget that day for the rest of my life. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.Being in long term V.A.I've asked for there movie to be added to are libary.
This clip is riveting. I'm very much looking forward to watching the entire documentary, and also patronizing the sponsors of the television broadcast when aired. God Bless Our Veterans! YBT
Terry, I am so excited for you. You have lived and breathed this for two years so I look forward to seeing it for the first time along with the men in the movie and their families.
Look forward to seeing the finished piece. Had the opportunity to spend a few hours with Plasticman at the VHPA reunion. The SOG guys were the real Warriors. 12 months in country, 9 months on FOB. Ben Het and points west.
