When I first unlocked that perk, the 12yr old inside me had me running around doing that to all of the females in Whiterun (both guards and npcs)...it's amazing how fit some of the old ladies are.

Then I grew up again and just started taking helmets off the guards so they weren't just faceless stormtroopers.

Seriously, being a thief is great especially if you complete the Crown of Bazenriah quest and get the Prowler's profit or something and you get at least 500 gold in jewelry on the still dead draugr bodies and in chests - it's difficult but worth it.

Word of advice, keep the axe on your right hand and the sword in the left. The speed at which you swing when dual wielding is determined by the left hand weapon, and swords are faster than axes.
