I remember watching this back in 1989, it was in reruns, I was 5 years old, and Fantasy Island was playing on KTLA WB. I fell head over heels in love with Ricardo as Mr. Roarke he was completely wonderful! Just wonderful!

Ron, Season 3 Episode 15 reveals that he'd been around for over 300 years, on another episode when someone suggested he was God he said some also called him the devil. In essence it's more likely he's a resident of pergatory (trapped between heaven and hell awaiting his judgement).
