  • can you glaze over the picture?

  • @TheSelGMusic Yes, use some glaze to glue the picture to the already baked item and once it dries, glaze the entire outside :D

  • @stargatefansg1did you know you can use brown clay with white paint to get that mixture look but it will be messy

  • at 2:50 what are you putting in it?

  • @kenzieismyname12 Chalk and Translucent Liquid Sculpey ;)

  • When did you put it in the oven (I think I missed that part:P)

  • @channiej1993 In the video at 7:21 :D

  • how do get the eyepin to stay? when i cook mine, you can easily pull the eyepin out

  • @2ne1MinzyWoW After your clay is baked, pull out the eyepin and then put some crazy glue on it & stick it back in. They seem to hold really well after that :)

  • wait wait wait what is that liquidy white stuff you mixed in with the chalk? I didnt really hear what you said. What is it and where can i buy it? And you can bake that with the clay to harded it it wont like explode lol

  • @MegaLoveRevolution It's called Translucent Liquid Sculpey or TLS...I think FIMO makes one too called deco gel. It's basically liquid clay and it has many uses. Yes, It must be baked, teehee otherwise you'll end up with a sticky mess ^_^ They should sell it wherever polymer clay is sold.

  • @stargatefansg1 Ooooooh okay awesome! Thank you so much! This video has inspired me! :)

  • @stargatefansg1 can i dont bake that clay because we don't have microwave..what should i do to make it hard like yours ????? pls reply and thnx :))

  • @xD2EllA2xD You need an oven to bake the clay. If you don't have that, I've seen some people dip the clay into boiling water to harden it. ;)

  • @stargatefansg1 ahhh ok ,,thankyou very much:))) .. have fun ..!!!!

  • Best drink tutorial so far.

  • @AverageDinosaurr Thanks :D

  • how do you place the logo over and over again ? i dont know that much of doing stuff like that please tell me , thank you :)

  • where do u get the chalk thingy at

  • @canaideanbacon I bought it at a Michael's store, it was near the scrapbooking section.

  • Looks great! but the straw isnt very good =.=

  • ive been waiting for a tutorial video for this! thanks!

  • @DancerGirl2016 Thanks for watching :)

  • do u bake it in a regular oven or do u have a special oven for clay stuff...also how long and at what temperature do u bake it for??? thanks

  • @princessLouLee You can bake it in both. Regular ovens are fine and some people also buy a small oven just for clay items. It's up to you for which method you like most :) The baking time and temperature all depends on the instructions on the clay package. Most of the time it is for 15-30 mins at 275 degrees.

  • @CelsMiss Thanks :)

  • im gonna go to michaels right now and do some clay art!!!!

  • LOL, the straw looks like a pickle(:

  • @vampireth101 LoLz I know...I should bake the straws and then put them in so they don't get all fat, sqishy and pickle looking ^-^

  • @stargatefansg1 But the straw look cute tho!(:

  • nice

  • @whatoyou Thanks :)

  • heey; i made one of these- thanks for the help!; check out my vid to see it xo

  • @artyteapot Very cool! :)

  • Ok so i got the logo and i shrunk it down in paint but when i printed it it was nothing but a bunch of pixels....you couldnt even make it out...:( what should i do??

  • @xxkleenexrockxx try a smaller logo from the beginning so when you shrink it, it wont distort as much

  • just a suggestion for the starbucks logo

so most hole punchers are 1/4 of an inch so i went into photo shop and made each logo 1/4 of an inch in diameter and then instead of cutting those tiny things out, you just aim your hole punch and BAM! :D

  • @StrawberriHearts Very smart idea! I'll try it :)

  • can you bake it with the eye pin in? can you glaze it THEN bake it?

  • @MermaidMack23 Yes, bake the eyepin in the clay or else you won't be able to put the pin in after the clay is hardened. Bake the clay first and THEN glaze it.

  • where can you buy the pins??

  • @MusicLover9072 I buy them at Michael's craft stores and many other craft stores.

  • how long should you bake it for? and at what temp??

  • @MusicLover9072 The type of clay I use should be baked for 15 minutes at 275 F. The clay should have the baking instructions on the label.

  • Can you bake the paper label and the glaze??

  • @MissMiniature No, the paper label and glaze should be added after your clay item is baked =)

  • wow u are really good! my mom luvs starbucks so i made her one for her b-day

  • what was that thing in the mixing plate is it glue?

  • @chellooza The stuff I added to the chalk? It is Translucent Liquid Sculpey, they usually sell it with the polymer clay in stores =)

  • @stargatefansg1 could i use elmers glue instead?

  • @chellooza I've never tried it but I think you can. Make sure you add the glue AFTER the clay has been baked though =)

  • @stargatefansg1 thanks!!!

  • @chellooza yes the elmers glue worked for me and made it look amazing :D

  • thx and do i mix it with tls (liquid sculpey)? thx for everything=)

  • @HelloKittyisLoveable Yes, add just enough paint to tint the tls =) Thanks for watching ;)

  • what do you do if you dont have chalk????? plz answer!

  • @HelloKittyisLoveable you can mix in a tiny amount of paint =) too much paint could cause bubbles when you bake it.

  • for how long do you bake it for? and at wat temp?

  • @Armygirl271 It says on the clay...dont just stick it in 4 n e amount of time. read the clay. hope this helps

  • wla akong makita kundi puro kamay mo lng...........

  • nice

  • Awesome

  • I don't have liquid sculpey, but i DO have sculpey gloss. Would sculpey gloss work instead of liquid sculpey????

  • That's the same glaze I have! xD Except mine has a red label :O I also like how you uber-copypasta'd the logo all over the paper :D Saves paper and space that way :3 This tutorial makes me want to go to Starbucks and get a frappy xD

  • how'd you wash out the liquid sculpey ?

  • @nicepuppy123 How did I wash it out of the plastic cup thing? I used a tissue to scoop out the majority of it out and then another tissue to wipe down the cup completely.

  • What do you mean by baking it?

  • @Dezzy720 This type of clay needs to be baked in an oven to harden.

  • *please answerrrr!*

can you use liquid sculpey with other clay scraps?

and is it the same as the fimo deco gel??

  • @classykenken yes you can use liquid sculpey with scrap clay. I haven't used fimo deco gel yet but yes, I think they are the same.

  • how do u get u paint brush not hard after u dip it the the glaze cause every time i do the brush on the paint brush gets like hard as a rock!!! :))

  • @imTOTALLYbieberfied When I glaze things, I only do a few things at a time and then immediately wash the brush....it does harden really fast so if it ever does, you can soak the brush in warm water and then peel away what is left on the bristles.

  • @stargatesfang would it look better if you used chalk pastels for the chocolate sauce, or acrylic paint?

  • @MissAmenderr Acrylic paint would be good but only after the clay has been baked.

  • do you need liquid sculpty ? can u use glue or something? i cant find it Xp

  • @5Bijou5 I'm not sure if glue would bake that well. You can always just use some colored clay and roll a thin coil to use as the top syrup =)

  • were did you get the chalk and whats it callled????;)

  • @danawanna1 I bought the soft chalks in the scrapbooking section of a Michael's craft store. You can use pastel chalks too ;) If you watch my video on recommended tools, you can see where I buy most of my tools ;)

  • @stargatefansg1 ok thanks so much:)

  • Ur videos ARE so cool. i liek al the mini stuff u made :) lol

  • @PurpleAreosaurus Thank you =)

  • You should make the straw smaller but that a 5star star bucks but you could work on your video

  • I don't know what to do for the whip cream part my clay keeps falling apart. Can you please help me?

  • @bffgril901 Don't worry, I have that problem too sometimes. All you have to do is do what I do in the video but when it gets too loose or pieces fall off, just sort of squish it together with your fingers and then keep going with the needle tool until you get the desired look. It may take a while but you'll get it ;) Once you bake your clay, putting a protective gloss should help keep the clay from crumbling. Thanks for watching.

  • Oh thank you! So if I add a white color to the translucent clay it will turn see through? Thanks!

  • Does the transluent clay turn clear when you bake it or does it stay the whitish color it is? Thanks.

  • @solivelaughxx If you watch the beginning of the video, you can see how it looks after it's baked. When you use the translucent clay alone, it will bake as a milky white color. If you add colored clay to the translucent clay, it will give the colored clay a kind of see-through look.

  • I love how you put the "Clay For Beginners" thing for the title because it's makes them wanna say, "I can tottally do this!!!!!" LOL Thats what I said .____.

  • @taylorswiftfangirls TeeHee! That's why I put it in the title so people will wanna try it out ;D ^-^

  • @stargatefansg1 Haha, Awesome ;]

  • can u use clear nail polish instead of the glaze?

  • @crazyartgirl1 No, the nail polish will begin to melt over time...and your charm will be very sticky. ;)

  • This is cute as hell!!!! very creative!

  • @ValLovesDenis Thanks! ♥♥

  • You say Car-mal? I say Care-eh-mael. Lol. I jsut had to point that out xP

  • @MileysBigestFan1423 TeeHee! I say tomato you say toe-mah-tow ♥

  • @stargatefansg1 I say Car-mal too!

  • were do you get the pin things you stick into the clay to make it a charm??

  • @xoRainbowConverseox I buy mine at Michael's craft stores. They should sell them at most hobby stores.

  • it looks like a frappe! i love it o-o

    plus it looks FANTASTIC

    great job :)

  • @LizzySkellington Thanks =^-^=

  • it looks great~i like it:)

  • @ehhnam Thanks ^-^

  • i dont have chalk so can i use clay with TLS?

  • @85babycakes Yea that would be fine....you can also mix a small amount of acrylic paint to the TLS...might be easier to work with ;)

  • are you sick? haha :P

  • @Karrla96 LoL I just have really bad allergies and I made this movie in the middle of spring XD sorry if I gross you out TeeHee!! =}

  • that is AWSOME! im not allowed to have any drink that has caffine in it or ill be set off for about...five hours? anyways WERE DO YOU BUY THE CLAY???

  • @kccheesepie LoL same thing with me and caffeine...i'll be hyper for hours after i drink coffee XD I buy the clay at either Michael's craft stores, Joann Fabrics or D&J Hobby =)

  • @stargatefansg1 thanks! I saw your tutorial for rainbow layer cake and I made one but I got a wierd effect where the colors looked all blurry and mixed! its pretty cool! I'll put some pictures up soon!

  • @kccheesepie oops I totally forgot to mention in that layer cake tutorial that it's a good idea to freeze the cake before you slice it...I'll add that in an annotation...thanks for reminding me teehee =)

  • @stargatefansg1 I do that alot XD but the effect without freezeing it is pretty cool too! and my windows movie maker is broken so I got lots of time to take pics XD oh and I also cut it after baking and it was layered colors on a different side :O

  • ya but it cant multiplie them

  • @MizGreenMakeup Sure ya can =) use the select tool to select your image then copy and paste...after that move over the copied image and then you'll have a second copy. Then repeat that to make more =)

  • hello ummm i dont have photo shop i only have picasa and i cant shrink it on there so is it possible if you can like send me a paper by youtube email or something?????? IDK :D

  • @MizGreenMakeup you can try the program Paint....It's on most PCs and you can shrink pics on that =)

  • Did you use liquid sculpey?

  • @ToastersaurusRex Yes I did ★

  • @Deathclould Thanks ^-^

  • I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH. now i can make them. their my fav drink ever :DD

  • @tomwahtoes Cool! =D

  • oh i see..thank you so much!!:)

  • @wu12994 You're welcome =^-^=

  • where can i get the starbucks logo?help pleasee:)

  • @wu12994 7:40 I found the logo on Google Images. Just search for Starbucks logo and it will give you a lot of choices =D

  • @stargatefansg1 how will i resize it?:)

  • @wu12994 If you watch the video at 7:40 I explain the whole process of finding and resizing the logo. I used photoshop to resize. =^-^=

  • @stargatefansg1 thank you!:))what paper should i use?:)

  • @wu12994 Regular computer printer paper is what I use. The ink on shiny photo paper would probably smudge when you put gloss on it and photo paper is really thick so the logo would probably bend up and peel off over time =D

  • i use an ordinary clay an i put it on our roof ..

  • @christianbien08 umm okay, whatever floats your boat =)

  • how did u stick the pin to the clay? After i baked mine i took it out and stick it in with glu again but it will always come back out after some time. Any tips?

  • @ting98 Umm i've had problems with the pin falling out too so sometimes I use an epoxy glue. it's a kind of glue that comes in a two chambered syringe and you mix the two chemicals together....very strong stuff.

  • @stargatefansg1 hmm i see.. where do u purchase it? hardware stores or smt? it is expensive? thxs for answering my qns!!

  • @ting98 I think I got mine at either a hardware store, craft store, or drugstore TeeHee it was so long ago I forgot. They sell it in a lot of places. I'm not sure what it cost but I don't think it would be too much. =^-^=

  • if you dont hav any tls then you can always use school glue (pva)

  • @princessguitarx Yea, you could do that but make sure it's after it's been baked

  • @stargatefansg1 yes defo unless u wanna go up in flames lol jk

  • @princessguitarx HAhaHA! Yea, imagine opening the oven door and ~*~Poof~*~ your eyebrows are burned off TeeHee!!!

  • @stargatefansg1 lol well i loved making the starbucks drink thx u hope u carry on with your youtube tutorials xx

  • perfect that was awesome!

  • @maddyswim2199 '=D

  • ok so this is amazing! thanks so much for doing the tutorial!! i dont know what to request next! im out of college in 2 weeks, i cant wait to have some time to sit down and play with my clay. i've missed it so :)
