  • Paul was the ####! who doesn't love his commercials. Paul and go see Cal are forever implanted in my brain

  • LEGENDARY!

  • 1st sight of heroines lifting a man.

  • Who the fuck would give this a thumbs down !!!?

  • Fuck yes the early 90s in the bay , great times of being a kid and seeing this commercial on kofy 20 and laughing he's driving his Benz in the rain with the to down ! Classic

  • Ultimate shiester, how many kids went hungry so bitches could get a diamond fix.

  • he was getting all the puss!

  • I miss these kinds of goofy, homemade commercials. Everything is too slick and overproduced now. I should have gone to the Diamond Center while I had the chance...

  • Does the Diamond Center still exist?

  • Classic NoCal circa-mid 80s. Damn, I miss my childhood!

  • @collectornothoarder

So do I. You grew up to be Uuuuugly.

  • Blame me, I was the one who produced this! I did Paul's commercials for almost 10 years. This was produced in about 1986.

  • @BigMacHD

No blame on you, BigMac. This commercial is a wonderful memory from my childhood. Thanks for the laughs!

  • @BigMacHD

You didn't produce this. I am one of those 4 girls trying to carry Paul. I know who produced this and I do not believe it was you.

  • I'm surprised that, watching these commercials as a kid, time after time again on Bay Area airwaves, that it didn't permanently lower my IQ by at least 15 points. Oh yeah, and Jim Rogers, the "People's Lawyer." LMAO.

  • @FreewayBrent 444-4441

  • @TheUncleBastard: lol

  • @TheUncleBastard No that's the number for the People's Lawyer lol

  • Bay Area

  • either paul was not very heavy or those four women had rather strong arm muscles.

  • @wallofvideo

believe me he was that heavy and after about 10 different takes on that shot, my arms hurt for weeks.

  • @bayareawidow wow, that's really something. it must be a kick for you to watch this commercial all these years later. if you don't mind my asking, which of the four women is you? would you say this filmed was around 1986?

  • I totally remember this commercial! So funny!

  • I MISS THE 90's!!!!

  • I shot this! Paul was a ham. And was very serious about this. He thought he was good.

  • I remember these commercials were on all the time. And eastwood insurance!

  • Wow. I'm not the only one who thought this was catchy back then lol! I could have sworn there was another version of this where he did this finger pointing thing with both hands at the screen while swaggering to and fro.

  • I have an autographed picture of Paul!! I was at a convention and he was sitting at a table in a crowded room - I ran up to him and shouted "Paul! I'm an unemployed single mom with 2 hungry children - WHAT CAN I DO?" It's one of my shining memories.

  • Classic Stuff! Where is the diamond center anyways?

  • @mezcala1000 i think this station is out of central valley California.

  • Days gone by.

  • I'M A CREDIT MAN! FAVORITE COMMERCIAL EVER.

  • LOL

  • God I have been singing this song to myself for like 24 years now. I never knew anyone else liked it or remembered it as well. Cool beans. Where can I get that mp3???

  • God, commercials back then were tolerable. I loved the 1990s.

  • WTF?!

  • LOVE IT!!!! i already have a funny story...i turned this commercial into a mp3 file and put it in my phone as a ringtone. I was at school in the computer lab and it went off for like 5 or 6 seconds loud. I was emmbaraassed at first but most the people in the room looked at me and had amazment looks on there face. One girl starting humming it to herself and one guy was like MAN, I remeber that commercial and he begged me to give him the mp3 haha!!

  • @90sman408

That is so awesome, can you send me the MP3 OF THAT PLEASE .

  • @SFFOOL76 sure i deffinitly can...send me your email address! You enjoy it as much as i do everyday...trust me haha

  • I used to think that Hanging with Mr. Cooper ripped off this commercial LOL

  • I hated it so much as a kid, that I love it now...

  • I STILL REMEMBER THIS!!! I remember seeing this commercial on KTXL 40 when I was a little kid in the daytime. I thought this commercial was so funny, especially driving the Benz in the rain and the ladies carrying him.

Also, the last time I saw this commercial on TV was back in 2005 (!), no joke either, I thought it was so random. Brings back so many childhood memories. I wonder where Paul is nowadays.

  • I loved this commercial back in the day....I was always amused by the one lady in the video, who looks like she's struggling to carry Paul

  • fuck the shane company

  • Haha, I still remember my Dad's comment about this commercial from when I was a kid: "Those poor girls have to carry that goof."

  • OMG I heard "Soul Man" on the radio yesterday and thought of this comercial. I wondered if i'd be able to find it on youtube. I had my doubts. I can't beleive I found it. I guess YT really has everything. Adding this to my playlist.

    Ps- Is he still alive?

  • Definitley vintage bay area tv ... Again thanks for posting

  • I looooooove local commercials. They are so amateurish. Especially this one, when you can tell they didn't bother to shoot more than one take per shot.

  • Love this commerical! It is soooooo Bay Area! I always enjoyed the uncoordinated female employees with the conspicuously 80s hairdos.

  • OH MY GAWD!!! THANK YOU!!! I've been waiting YEARS to see this again! The Bay Area and its natives salute you!

  • paul is the fucking man

  • I was probably 4 or 5 when i first saw this, and i used to laugh at this everytime it came on...20+ yrs later, im still laughing!!! :)

  • This song has been in my head for 25 years and I finally get to hear it again. Thank you

  • Awesome! Where is Paul from the Diamond Center these days?

  • Now we can all die happy.

  • Everyone who grew up in the Bay Area says GOD BLESS YOU FOR POSTING THIS! I haven't seen this in decades, and I love it!

  • Us from French Camp and Stockton loved it also.

  • Yeah it was a big hit in Yuba City, too!

  • One of the best commercials I've ever seen!

  • Paul needs to come back.

  • Hell yeah! Used to watch this all the time as a kid on KOFY TV. Why the hell did they film in the rain?

  • yes this was my shit

  • Right on!
