i think the stingray's were the best corvette's they looked way better then those newer platstic rolling garbage cans they made after like the z06 sure there faster but theres more to a car then just speed and here's an example of speed and looks and class

Let them worry about non-original wiper blades and missing trim. I'm a cruise night kinda guy; pop the hood for a couple hours, then hunt for a Mustang owner waiting at a red light.
We have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 (1%) API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs/Injection and tank clean and rustfree!
So what if you have no trophies. I have some, and all they remind of is cars that I were scared to drive, leave in a parking lot, and constantly had to obsess over. Thats a bad ass car and a trophy is not needed IMO.
