  • que guitarra utilízas?

  • Hola!

    Salu2

    Per-Olov

  • Master Peo...im doing great! i will post videos when i can get my hands on a mic. What kind of mic are u recording with? Any places in mind i can check out for a good one?

  • Nice to hear. Looking forward to hear you.

I have one very expensive mic I bought when I had money (many years ago) LOL

For recording instrumants you need a condensator mic. Not a dynamic! That's for singing... Talk to a music shop/instrument dealer in your area.

    Per-Olov

  • hey Peo how r u? i just finished this piece. Took a while. But of course urs is untouchable

    take care

    Evan

  • Hi Evan. I am fine thank you. Hope you are too.

I am glad to hear you play this now. Will we hear it here on YT?

    Per-Olov

  • hi, i dont speak english, but you job is very well, you can send me the partitura of this piece....

  • Dear Peo

    Very colourful.

  • Excellent playing.

Coste is very underrated don't you think?

  • Thank you.

Yes, I agree with that. He composed many great pieces. Maybe it's because they often are very difficult...?

    Per-Olov

  • I started playing classical guitar about 6 months ago because of seeing you in this video I have probably watched this video over 100 times to see if I play the same way you do. Your an inspiration...thank you!!!

  • Hi! thank you! It's so good to know I can inspire you to play more! Thank you for telling me. I hope you will play for many years to come.

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • You played beautifully. I'm looking to purchase the music sheet for this piece. Would you let me know what opus that this piece belong to. Thanks, a lot.

  • Thank you. I am sorry but I don't know the opus... I have it in an old book without infos... :-(

  • It is on "Methode pour la guitare par Ferdinando Sor" de N. Coste, lesson 24.

(Thanks to Jose Luis for the info)

  • I've got this on Tab if you want it.

  • Hello, thank you for the offering me the tab. Yes, I'd like the tab. Do you happen to know the opus that this piece is belong to? Thank, again.

    Luyen.

  • When I firstly learned this song, I found it simple and not difficult, but you play it beautifully.

BTW, how do you record your play? Do you do it by yourself our hire a video professional?

  • Thank you. I video everything by my self. Ecept fory the ones in Rome and Miami Beach. There I had a pro behind the camera! :-)

    Per

  • Per,

Do you know which opus nr. this comes from?

    Daan

  • Hi Daan,

No... I am sorry... I have it on a paper from my professor back in 1980... Try to look for it at the royal Danish libyrary kb(dk) there is a Richels samling (collection) that has all Coste scores for free!

    Per-Olov

  • beautiful music

    and great production

  • largo?....that wouldent be largo florida would it, god if so do u give lessons?? ur awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • No, LOL Largo means "slow" in Italian. My my girlfriend lives in Miami Beach. But you would have to go to Denmark to have lessons...

    Per

  • that's suk...logged in but still could not post a comment....

  • Well! You just commented!? :-) Thank you! I hope don¨t think I suck?

    Per-Olov

  • Oh,i can whole heartedly assure you that to even think for a second about including the word "suck" in an assessment of your guitar playing skills would be a mortal sin.

  • LOL... thanks a lot! Aprreciated!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • You're welcome, and thank you for such great music.

  • Hello Per, your sound is extremely fine. A good guitar obviously, but your technique is the real thing in.

/one great fan of yours in youtube

  • Thank you1 I am happy you can hear it's my practice that makes the sound not the microphone...

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • Absolutely, you do the sound, not the microphone. Btw. Isaac Stern said once: It is not difficult to play many notes in in a short period of time. But to play a single note beautifully, that's technics!

I keep listening to you. Thanks, --Arttu

  • Thanks Arttu! Stern was right! I'll remember that.

    Thank you!

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • I'm a hardcore metalhead, but this completely blew my mind. You sir, have made me a fan of classical guitar.

  • WOW! Thank you! That is so great to hear! I like most music. It'a a matter of being open minded, I think. And I can see you are!!

    Welcome to the Club!

    LOL

    Kindly,

    Per

  • I have this piece in tablature if anyone wants it send me a message.

    trai_doi and the yahoo.

You know what I mean, right?

  • excelent performance... what´s the guitar´s name brand?

  • Thank you. It's a Philippe Jean-Mairet from Switzerland. (1987)

    Kindly,

    "fedesanchez 2 de diciembre"

I hope you like it. Best Regards.

  • Hi Peo,

Definitively, you became one of my idols !!! :)

I play guitar since I was 8, and I play many pieces that you play, Dowland, Weiss, bach, Sor, Guiliani, Coste, and others, but not with the quality sound that you have, because I do it as a hobbie.

I really enjoy your style, very clean and musical, it is a really pleasure hearing you.

  • Fantastik! I'm bewitched, bothered and bewildered. lol.

  • Thanks!

Bothered!? Why? Didn't you like this music? I think it's beautiful...!

    Per

  • I was not referring to the music. It was me. I love your music so much. There is nothing wrong. I am in love w/ your playing. Every single note-

  • Ah!! OK! I am relieved! :-) Thanks a lot!

I am happy you like my music.

  • You can find this at the Royal Danish libyrary (kb dot dk) search for "richel collection" I'm sorry I cannot help you more. No this is not a study. Repetoir? Hm... probably meaning a piece...

  • That was beautiful

  • Thank you! Appreciated.

    Kindly,

    Per

  • that was fantastic, i think you could play better than me with no fingers!

  • You are a great guitarist, might I ask if you know any places to find some classical tabs, im just starting to play classical music, and it's hard to find.

  • Thank you! You know it's not that many pleces with classical TAB because we usually play from sheet music. I don't know any place but I think you should Google: tab classical guitar

    Good luck!

    Peo

  • Go to Ultimate-guitar"dot"com

To view the files you need to download powertab editor

  • Hi Peo, you play very beautifully. I can feel it when you play. Thanks alot for sharing. Do you have a website by any chance. And when you have a CD comes out, pls let us know. Best wishes, -----JT

  • Hi JT. Thanks a lot! Appreciated. Yes I have: peo-kindgren(com) And I will post a bulletin here and on my webpage when my CD is out!

    Kindly,

    Peo

  • Your videos are amazing. How many hours a day do you practice if you dont mind me asking?

  • Thank you! I am a professional guitarist so playing and teaching is all I do... So i guess I play 2-4 hours every day. But I am recording a solo CD right now so it's more... :)

    Kind regards

    Peo

  • Which "Andante" is this. Opus? It is really beautiful.

  • Thanks. I am really sorry but i don't know... :( I have it from my professors book and he didn't tell me where it's from...

    Sorry,

    Peo

  • This is beautiful enough to be tempted to want more.

The tone, the phrase grouping are beautiful. His art-

iculative focus when shifting register is also

fabulous. What I would have like is portamento

of every kind within the phrases to create more

    tension and release contrast.Nonetheless Russell,

Williams,Fisk,or Isbin have never stumbled on a

phrase as beautiful as this, much less sustain it

    through a whole piece.

  • Found the sheet music on this good resource for guitar scores thanks to dimezakk I knew where to look. It's under Sor-Coste and as he said number 24 in the method.

  • First off: Well played, Peo, I'm studying this one in this right moment bc of your video ;)

@Johnston: Coste was taught by Fernando Sor who had a collection of technical studies. I think this one belongs to a collection of songs, that Coste rewrote from these studies originally coming from Sor (Above the title - I have it as a sheet - it says "Method 24", so I'm taking a wild guess that it belongs to that collection of studies).

    Greetings,

    Max

  • Thanks Max!! Great info! I will copy and past it as an answer to Johnston87, OK?

    Peo

  • Thanks

  • Could you tell me the opus number of this piece? Thanks, great playing

  • Thanks. No not right now. It's not mentioned in my edition. I will try to find it and post a reply...

    Peo

  • See Max' comment above!

    Peo

  • There is no opus number on this piece it's unspecified by the composer

  • i love it i beleave a lot of guitarist need to take lessons like the the younger guitarist but this is great

  • Peo, you are great!!! Where are you from?

  • Thank you.... sir :-)

I live in Copenhagen, Denmark see my Channel.

    Kind regards,

    Peo

  • Thank you. I had tears in my eyes from such beautiful playing.

  • Thank you for your kind words.

    Peo

  • Music for children

  • I have my gradson fall asleep to Peo's music all the time. He's 19 months old and loves it.

He loves to watch. Thanks for helping me put him to bed.

    Patty

  • Amazing!

I knew of Coste but never heard any of his stuff. I never knew his music was so rich! Well you just opened up my mind :)

  • Thanks! Appreciated! N. Coste is a facinating composer. Sometimes superficial and sometimes very "deep".

    Peo

  • Wow, do you have sheet music for this?

  • Fantastic

  • Peo, You exert full control on the guitar and command every note as you wish in every piece you played! You are my hero on the guitar!

  • master !!!

  • Wonderful !! I can't fault this performance.

  • i have never heard it! it is good

  • Beautiful tone and phrasing.

  • excellent, nice tune! :)

  • Thank you Peo for your video's. I play classical guitar now for 4 years and just started some simple etudes of Coste opus 38. You are inspiring me to keep on practicing !

  • I enjoy your playing very much
