Well m not exactly sure .. but i've heard that alot .. plus sum kinda proof is when Justin Bieber came on ellen ..

He sang baby and along with that he was also dancing .. so when he has to jump and clap his hands above his head ( dance move ) the singing does'nt stop even though the mic is away from his mouth .. there is no diffrence in the sound .

And then to cover it up he quickly bring his hand back down .. so most people won't notice .

That's what made me come to that conclusion .
