That's a great bassline. Would you mind doing a version of it slower showing how you get it down? I detect a tripet cycle in there - or do my ears deceive me? Tks

PS: Love the bass. Looks like an old c.1962-63 P_Bass.
Gotta say - this is one of the first bass grooves I saw on YouTube and it's totally infectious. The drums are a simple but great beat, the old muted P-bass sound is fantastic - I'm a P-bass freak myself. In my opinion, this is by far the best bass groove on YouTube, proof that simple can be great when the heart and soul is there. Hey Bauschilein, GIVE US SOME MORE just like this, with those killer drum grooves!!!
I know this is supposed to be a simple little groove, but this is my favorite bass vid to watch on youtube. I love the tone and the feel of this little groove! Much props to you bro you deserve it!
Hi Christian, ich stolpere gerade zufällig über deine tollen Clips ---> GEILO!!! Wir sollten endlich mal ´ne P-Bass-Convention organisieren, würde dann mein altes Schätzchen von ´66 mitbringen... Liebe Grüße aus Heidelberg - and pleeeeeze say "hi" to my old buddy Mr. Jackson!
i bought 62 reissue pubs 4 my squire pbass....and a new neck....and im rewiring it.cuzz i added a bunch of wierd stuff in it...and i riped the frets out :)
well, that fretboard ist stock on that that bass. it´s brazilian rosewood, it was very common during the early 60´s. the brighter an less harder indian rosewood came later...approx. 1964-65.
I have watched this vid more than any other on YouTube. I love the simple but massively funky groove. That ditty around the 15th fret just kills me. I'm just starting playing the bass and stuff like this really inspires me to keep picking it up every day.
Great technique & groove. That's so Rocco Prestia sound & you didn't move the fingers, you move the hand. Is this the only right way to get that sound?
I noticed you said those are nickel roundwounds on there? I guess it's just the video, or you have them sounding like a set of flats... good groovin bro.
thanks..man....well...i like all the ol´scholl groovers and movers like jamerson, prestia, philipps, jackson, porter, lee, dunn, collins, bascomb, baker etc.etc. all the cats, that make my butt swing :-))
but i also like palladino and zender very much...great guys.
yeah..my taste. pino, meshell, stuart, rocco .. almost everyone who has that right pulse while holding him/herself 'back' (my nick was the first thing that came to my mind while registering..) i play old jazz w/ precision neck with flatwounds. cheers, mike

You are not playing that. There are notes that would be played on the G string yet you are on the E or A as high notes are sounding.
