Gotta say - this is one of the first bass grooves I saw on YouTube and it's totally infectious. The drums are a simple but great beat, the old muted P-bass sound is fantastic - I'm a P-bass freak myself. In my opinion, this is by far the best bass groove on YouTube, proof that simple can be great when the heart and soul is there. well, that fretboard ist stock on that that bass. it´s brazilian rosewood, it was very common during the early 60´s. the brighter an less harder indian rosewood came later...approx. 1964-65.
