I have never dropped acid myself but I have been around people who have. By "fade out" I take it that you mean burn out. I don't think it really makes you burn out but it might depend on the kind of trip you are having. It makes a person more energized if they are seeing really cool or really scary shit. One thing is certain - you won't be sleeping for awhile.

Usually deaths result from risky behavior. The problem I had with the video is that they said "she almost died." Not possible. You are right about water though, no need to be insulting. Its pretty simple to say that this man wasnt a genious but he was smart and cunning... he took in kids, became their provider, offered them family and used mind altering drugs to scare them. They became so used of doing what he wanted and being punished if they refused that they listened to him. The defense should have gotten that trial out of L.A. No Pardon or sympathy at all for the gruesome murders, but you move a trial to a more plausible setting. Why they didn't push for this is unbelievable. All you have is the tainted stupid act of politics and media of L.A. where the event took place! they did push to have the trial moved, but it was declared by more than one judge that no matter where the trial took place the defendants would be facing the same possible prejudice. it was headline news all around the world and the media would have followed it closely even if they moved the trial to podunk, wisconsin.

The fact that the death penalty was declared unconstitutional in California was a slap in the face to the families of the victims. Parole after 7 years!! Whenever you have murders that are so brutal and heinous as these were, then the death penalty follows; end of story. When you have 3 girls just singing away to a murder trial, then something is radically wrong; insane! They should get out? I don't think so! This is a no brainer!

It has come out that Fitzgerald contacted a jury member and tried to lure him to deadlock the jury so there would be a mis-trial!I guess he figured that if he couldn't get a mis-trial based on the comments Nixon made to the media convicting Manson before he was tried in court,that he would try to get it via the jury! When he was confronted by the jury member and was told that if it had been reported to the bar he would have been disbarred he told him to "Go ahead and report it I have the number"

A particiant in a murder is as guilty as the murderers. They know about the murder, they don't do anything to stop it, they give comfort and aid to the murderers. How are they not as guilty? Just because they don't handle the gun or knife? Not a good reason to give them special treatment. There are a lot of sick people we have to live with. Manson shot at least one man with intent to murder, though the man actually survived, and he tied up the LaBiancas and then ordered Tex Watson, Leslie Van Houten and Patricia Krenwinkel to go in and kill them. He most emphatically is a murderer, even if he personally never murdered anyone himself. He also ordered the murder of Gary Hinman. Manson is both legally and morally a murderer.

Usually deaths result from risky behavior. The problem I had with the video is that they said "she almost died." Not possible. You are right about water though, no need to be insulting. The drug itself will not kill you but your actions as a result of taking the drug can. As a result of taking the drug a guy might think he can fly and jumps out the window. Or you could run out into traffic thinking that nothing can harm you. I think that's the point they were trying to make.
