hmmmmm, i think i will actually save my summer job money for this m4, lets see 15 dollars for 30 extra shells so that about 10 pounds, affordable, about 420 pounds for rifle, 200 pounds for 600 shells, 200 pounds for 6 magazines, and 180 pounds for bb's, batteries and extras should round it off to an affordable 1000. I only go to a few major airsoft events every year so i will definitely skirmish with it and later comb the fields with my brush and pan(i have no life so plenty of spare time)

@SuomiBroadcast i would buy this even if the BBs including shells would cost 10x the cost of a BB botle... but unfortunatley it works out that 5000bb's cost around 6,5 pounds , 30 shell cost 15 pounds ... so if you were to have same number off BB + Shell you would have to spend emmm 2500 pounds + BBs ... im sorry but that is 385x MORE !! ...

At most i would buy this gun as a collectors item, or use it for CQB training and even than i'd need to attach a bag to the ejection port so i wouldn't have to go around picking up all those shells. It's a good gun for people who like how real it is, and thats pretty much it.

In theory this is awesome, but in reality this sucks. It's completely useless in any kind of skirmish, since you have to pick up the shells. "We have to MOVE! Red team is closing in!!" - "Just a sec, need to collect my 60 shells..."

I could see that actually working in game use if the made the shells out of some kind of plastic that they also use to make bio bbs out of. You could reuse them by picking them up but if you cant find them or don't want to then you can leave them. Also this would make them cheaper.

@BarCodeTheatre The RA Tech M4 I believe is made to have shell/shell-less firing modes. So the cool thing is, you have an electric blowback that fires fast, has a full open bolt, can go through a lot of magazines on one charge, and can fire shells only if you want it to. The thing can even operate on spring action if your battery dies (charging handle functions to prime the weapon). It'll even JAM if you mishandle the bolt. AWESOME! Old WE M16's and M4's have RS outer dimensions on the upper and lowers and accept many real steel parts.

My (AWSS) HK416 has numerous real steel parts.

It even accepts real steel PMags fitted for gbb.

I think that the realism in old WE and INO gbbr's is why they are so sought after.
