@ReachForTheHalo Bloom is just awful but spread made the game that little more challenging. Halo 3 is one of the best in it's series alongside halo 2. Halo CE was great but multiplayer wasn't all that great with its overpowered pistol -_-...
@Cloudless36 Spread increased the challenge by creating extreme randomness. Many people, including yourself, are blinded into believing that this increases the skill gap. All it does is create randomness. Halo 2 was only good post-patch. CE was by far the best in the series and only those who have never played it would call the pistol overpowered. Even top pros rarely got 3-shots. It took far too much skill. The spread in that game created a skill gap because it wasn't ridiculous. Halo 3 sucked.
@ReachForTheHalo When you say Halo CE, do you mean the multi-player? Wasn't that only on PC? I loved Halo 3 beceause it was a fun game to play in customs, campaign, forge and multi-player. The multi-player was not onlyhilariously fun, but wasn't full of sweaty kids all the time. I preffered Halo 3 over Reach because of the way the game played and the fact that it had none of the bullshit armour abilities, there were no 'credits', the maps werent just one map remade and a vareity of other reasons
@Cloudless36 CE had a local multiplayer on the Xbox version. LAN will always be better than online, and CE will always be better than Halo 3 or any Halo that ever releases. The maps in CE were far more unique than the maps in Halo 3. Only reason I didn't quit Halo 3 the first week is because I liked the maps Guardian, Construct, The Pit, and Narrows. Funny how the default maps were far better than the map pack maps in Halo 3 as well. We haven't had good maps in a map pack since Halo 2.
@Cloudless36 Even in Reach, there are some good maps, but only in their MLG forms. Countdown and Zealot play extremely well for MLG, as does Powerhouse and Boardwalk (Yes, I said it) in the MLG versions made by a Polish Korean. And that's only the default maps. There are so many forge maps that MLG has yet to add to the circuit, but still need to be added. Almost all of aPK's maps have potential for the circuit, Despair and Amalgam by SecretSchnitzel, and Complex by Salot are just some examples.
