  • thank you or saving this dog--you're an angel! :)

  • @veganstanger damn, thank you FOR saving this dog!

  • @veganstanger he really is! I can't even express it in words. eldad75 and others like him are truly godsends for the defenseless.

  • an then... oh i don't know the second song. The Fray - How to save a life?

  • Sting - Desert Rose instrumental?

  • Hi Eldad. This reminds me of what we went through chasing Johnny with Jill in Pomona. It took us FOREVER to get him! He sure is a happy boy now. Great work you're doing!!

  • This made me cry... not because of her horrible owners, but because she was saved. Thank you so much for all you do!!

  • I have a dog named Rosie too... You are a hero for putting your time to helping animals. You are a hero

  • God Bless you!!!

  • YOU give me hope. YOU are the definition of HERO.

  • that squeezed my heart

  • Macht weiter so. Ihr seid die Besten!!

  • Great story.... Happy ending...

  • @turbo4097 He said there was a water source nearby.

  • I remember my neighbours had a dog called Sando...they were so effing mean...they took him in a car to someplace and left him there....the poor dog ran behind the car as far as he could but was exhausted and fell behind...I was a kid then but I told them even then that Its not the right thing uncle, you shouldn't do that... I know how it feels when you are left all alone suddenly... that dog would have felt terrible...to this day I often think about that...

  • awesome youre a brave hero saving dogs life...

  • beautiful

  • The worst fate a dog can face in the wild, is to be rejected by their "pack". Nothing is as terrible to them as being rejected and ejected. Abandoning your dog, horrible. It would actually be less cruel to shoot the dog. I do not advocate dog shooting. I once rescued a dog dumped out in the middle of nowhere. The sheer look of relief on the dogs face was beyond description. I found him a home too. I would have kept him, but I had four dogs already.

  • What relief in her little face. brilliant job. Glad you never gave up.

  • Wonderful work that you do! I love the big doggy smile at the end. Did you remember to unblock the freeway tunnel?

  • eldad what you're doing its amazing, cheers for caring this much.

  • Real human, thank you thank you thank you.

  • your an inspiration

  • Eldad, You're a true hero. Much appreciate everything you do. Kuddos!

  • You are what represents hope in humanity! Awesome video!

    -Soldier in Iraq

  • @cfhpantera1 i live in portugal and here gypsys are the scum and rodents of the country but i digress. what im trying to say is that i saw and saved two pups that were going to be slaughtered for food.... i had a close shave too walked away rather put the pups in my car and floored it with a stab to the liver but the girls are safe and i named them luna and eva!

  • All involved are fabulous. All she needed was people she could trust and feel secure with! Hooray!

  • Amazing Adventure...:) Wish You ALL the BEST...:))

  • I Lost my dog and I hope someone will do the same for her.... This video make me cry. HELP ME FIND BONITA youtube com user Lindamolmos

  • I Lost my dog and I hope someone will do the same for her.... This video make me cry. HELP ME FIND BONITA

  • I Lost my dog and I hope someone will do the same for her.... This video make me cry.

  • OMG, OMG. What heroes you are!! Smart, persistent, committed. I am so uplifted after watching the Rosie saga.

  • awwwwwwww

  • You are amazing, You take the time and effort to save these animals, You are a hero

  • Every single person involved in Rosie's rescue are SUPERHEROES!!!!!

  • sure you have a place in heaven....my heart goes to all people who loves animals thanks so much for make of this world a better place to live GOD BLESS YOU ALL

  • What a great story with a great ending. = )

  • The person that left Rosie in the desert ought to have to live under the same circumstances for at least seven times as long as Rosie did, just for starters. I don't understand how people can be so cruel and heartless. Thank goodness there are still kind people in this world, such as the ones in this video. THANK YOU! Ann and Daisy

  • This is such a wonderful story, at the end anyway. Thank you for taking the time and putting forth the effort to save this sweet, and smart, little girl. It amazes me that she went to the kennel after running from you for so long. After all, she is a smart girl! I found this by way of the update...so richly deserved!!! THANK YOU ALL!

  • Oh my.. It made me cry

Thank you so much , Thank you, thank you.

  • I am glad people helped...providing the map could have just as easily helped people find her that didn't wish her well. It is sad to think that there are such people in this world that would hurt innocent animals and children.

  • Too bad we cannot find out who dumped her as the same fate should happen to them

  • @rockybudgeboa no need for that..God will be the one to handle the..

  • @krisalex18 I sure hope so

  • @rockybudgeboa I absolutely agree.

  • You are so awesome dude....this is the best video I have seen in a LONG time...

  • This reminds me of a friend of mine and me how we tracked a mom cat that had a litter...it took us almost a month to find where she had them, as she moved them when she knew we were looking to help her. Animals instinct to survive the best way they know how but them in such dire circumstance.........I really appreciate your tenacity!

  • I wish there were more people like Eldad. We have a lot of people who would aim for the dog with their cars, not give her a hand, like picking her up, taking her to a sanctuary. Great video!

  • Wow you're Awesome!! Bless you for caring for a helpless dog.

I know Donna and she is the best!

  • @countingcrow77 I am so sick of hearing these lame excuses. People don't seem to understand how devastating it is for the dogs and cats.

  • Sad, but glad that this dog had a happy ending cause of U! ; ) Just think of all the people in the same plight 2! Where is humanity when HumanBeings forget what beingHumane is like 4 all livingBveings like this little doggy? Thx 4 sharing one dog's story! & imagine all the Other'sJustBeings ignored! : (

  • @rwcbanzai Hey. Listen, if A LOT of people would do A LITTLE, then A LOT would get done. We just need more soldiers on the ground helping people and helping animals. Now it's up to you to share this video, and teach your friends how they can help.

  • @eldad75 YOU'RE AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS!!! This is such a great story! Your tenacity is so appreciated by animals and humans who love animals!!!

  • @eldad75 If you're recruiting, then I'll dutifully serve by your command.

  • @w00dbeck yeap... this was teamwork at its best. I will try to show more nature stuff when I am out there. It's too bad it wasn't nesting season because it's just amazing when all the birds are there.

  • @niokiniki Thank you Niokiniki. I am glad you watched all the way to the end... I have the feeling many people get tired of watching my long videos :-)

  • @countingcrow77 It's too bad that there are so many idiots out there, but I am happy that I was able to surround myself with so many nice people who are helping me out :-)

  • I'm so thankful she didn't get hit by a car. There isn't enough words to tell you how awesome you are :)

  • @tinypuppies3 Thank you Tinypuppies3. I just got an update on her, and she is doing GREAT! I will go to visit her soon, and then I will post a video update ;-)

  • Rosie I am glad people with big hearts would not give up til you were safe amen.I would not give uo either.Someone stole my little gremlin a 20 pound black spaniel ,I loved her so,I suspect who so if anyone has any answers please let me know.I wonder everyday if she is alive and if she is thinking momma I want to come home but I don't know how or where I am .I am so sad. When watching these stories I have hope I will see my lil gremlin again God Bless You All !!!!!!!

  • @deanna777777777777 Hey Deanna. I am not sure where you're from, but please feel free to send me all the info to my email, and I will see if anyone would be able to help you find your little Gremlin... I can't even imagine what you're going through :-(

  • Yay! Another happy ending!

  • @MyAugieDoggy I work hard to make sure my videos are all ending happily. I will soon post a video update on Rosie (I just have to drive all the way to Northern California to visit her).

  • @eldad75 That's the best part! I wish all doggies could have the same happy ending.

  • Another beautiful story, gotta love Rose's 'yeaaah, that's the spot' face, and this woman's idea was brilliant- shows that even without the resources you cna make a world of difference just by trying.

It's really too bad I can't see some of the videos because of music copyright, because I was really looking forward to them, so I'll have to hope the next ones get uncopyrighted music or stuff that isn't' hated by my countries rules XD

  • @Panur Hey. Thank you so much for all your nice comments. If you will go to VIMEO DOT COM and seach for ELDAD HAGAR, you'll be able to see some of the videos that you might be blocked from seeing on youtube. I will make sure to upload all of them to that site too. Try this one: vimeo . com/14768333 (just delete the spaces)

  • @Panur Hey. Please let me know what videos you can't see, and I will load them to my VIMEO channel. It's vimeo-dot-com /eldad75 ;-)

  • Awesome story with a very happy ending.. Thanks to all who reached out to help and rescue Rosie.. Thanks for not giving up... Now she sees not all people are bad!

  • @coffmanclan Thank you CoffmanClan :-)

  • Be blessed, one of the best vids ;-)

  • @IvanIsmailov oh wow! thank you :-)

I think that by the end of next week it will be ranked among my TOP 3 videos (as far as the number of views).

  • Hats off to you, my friend. Hats off! Job well done.

  • @nrgins Thank you :-)

  • This is beautiful! Love and blessings to you, Rosie and all those who helped.

  • @mastersgirl414 Thank you MasterGirl. I will send everybody your love :-)

  • God Bless you for helping rosie & not giving up!

  • @Cali3215 Giving up is not an option :-)

  • wow! this really brought tears to my eyes! you guys are rosie's angels!

there is a dog that looks a little like rosie in a field near my house that i have been trying for months to catch! every time i get too close to her, she runs to a very busy highway. the last time i tried to save a starving dog that way, it ended in tragedy. this gives me hope!

  • @haleyjane9 Hey Haley. Where are you located? Maybe I can help you out... I was able to help people in Montana before just by using satelite images and tell people how to get the dog. Let me know.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you & DOG bless you for not giving up!

  • @HalfDozDogs Thanks HalfDozDogs :-)

  • Nice Work Eldad, as usual. You need your own show. You are so good with these animals. Hey did you see Pedigree is offering grants. Go register. Deadline is September 30th

  • @WeAreNotThrowaways Hey. Thanks for the tip... I will check it out right now and see if I can get in there quickly :-)

  • this is an amazing video. it touches my heart and makes me so glad there are caring folks out there like yourselves. to think this all happened not far from the area i live in and never even knew about it. thank god you were there for Rosie and didnt give up on her. its so sad and heartbreaking that she even had to go through such a tramatic thing in her life. i hope karma finds her original owners and rips them apart!

  • @Lagi03 Thank you Lagi03 :-) This area is so big, and the chances of noticing her in the first place were slim. Later on this week I will meet Donna (who posted the flyer) and Doris (who adopted Rosie). It's too bad that Rosie won't be coming down to Socal with them, but I will definitely go back there to vitis her.

  • Really nice 2 see a happy ending for Rosie, makes me wonder about native feral species that do not.

  • @rwcbanzai Thank you :-)

  • Well done, for not giving up & saving beautiful Rosie. :)

  • @2manylost I am so lucky it was so hot and that she needed to drink :-)

  • Eldad, you are truly an Angel that walks among us! I pray that you have nothing but good fortune in your life! Thank you so much for showing us all that there are such wonderful people like you out there!

  • @kalikitty2000 Thank you KaliKitty. I couldn't have done any of it without all my supporters out there who donate to Hope For Paws and help me pay for gas and cheeseburgers for these dogs :-)

  • God Bless you! Such a wonderful uplifting story!

  • @gec1018 Thank you :-)

  • So sweet! :)

  • @Jadensamma Soon I will visit Rosie and I will post a video update of her ;-)

  • Great video and awesome job rescuing:)

Damon Dahlen, Photo Editor / Paw Nation

  • @PawNation Thank you Damon. I just joined PawNation :-)

  • Wow, Rosie is such a nice and beautiful girl, why did they dump her?? Really, there was no reason for that dumb act. She is sweet too. And really smart, the perfect dog anyone would want :) Bless your sweet heart Eldad.

  • @AshChocolate So many idiots out there, but luckily also many good people out there as well. Rosie has the best life right now, and I am so happy for her :-)

  • i will never completely understand why and how people can dump beautiful, loving animals. wish there were more like you and those who care.

seriously, "how to save a life" should be your theme song. gets me every single time.

  • @kinmik Thank Kinmik. As soon as you actually "understand" it, let me know because that would probably blow my mind.

  • Thank you all - there are good people out there!!

  • @marinabarry Yeap... I get to meet many of them saving these dogs, and that's what gives me hope.

  • bless your good heart.

  • @uberster Thank you :-)

  • Thank you so much for saving her.

May you be rewarded 1000 fold for all your good deeds on behalf of these furry angels.

Did you notice the resemblance between Rosie and her new Mom?...it was meant to be :)

  • @KaraKarinita Thank you. I prefer a $1000 donation (than being rewarded at a later time) so I can save a few more dogs NOW :-)

  • @eldad75

:), I did send you a donation, sorry it wasn't for $1000....if everyone does their part, we can all make it add up to much more than $1000!

  • YOU ARE A HERO,, YOU ARE A ANGEL IN ST. FRANCIS EYES..

  • @mommadoodoes I just helped a little :-) All this wouldn't have happened if other people didn't care.

  • she is beautiful.. with such wonderful eyes.. I still can not understand how anyone can leave their pets behind.. when I get myself a pet I stay with it for life.. no exception. and if there was ever a time there would be a situation where i could not take care of a pet I would find it a good home..

  • @sarabjarnveig87 I wish everybody felt and acted like you. I would have had a lot LESS work which would have made me so happy.

  • What a beautiful, beautiful girl! How could anyone dump her like that? May she have a lifetime of kisses and belly rubs!!

  • @thkn1 I promise, she gets those kisses and belly rubs nonstop from her new mom and dad :-)

  • Yeah for not giving up and all the people who helped Rosie. Restores my faith in people to hear stories like this.

  • @lgmccarville Thanks. I am glad we're helping with restoring faith in humans :-)

  • Crying like a baby. I wish more people would understand the rewards of helping save "Just one". Kudos!!!

  • @krinker123 Thank you! I totally agree with you... I wish I had a 1000 volunteers who knew how rewarding this is.

  • What an amazing story. SO happy Rosie is okay. Blessings, Patty

  • @angelgirls1980 Thank you AngelGirls :-)

  • this is wonderful

  • @trotwoodtrouble Thanks :-)

  • I am an ole` 59 year old man ,sitting here with tears flowing down my cheeks, This is Just WONDERFUL Guys, Just WONDERFUL, Thank you all for giving your time and your HEART`S to help Rosie GET to a GOOD HOME! :O)

  • @RonnieHinson Hey Ronnie. I am so happy you liked this video. I am happy to report that Rosie was adopted by Doris who is Donna's sister (who posted that flyer at the desert). I will get to meet them next week :-)

Please click on my name and see some of my other rescues... I am pretty sure you'll like them.

    Eldad

  • Simply amazing how easy you make it look (and I know it isn't). Surprised Rosie survived this long with the heat and traffic. Fantastic video

  • @Di727 Thank you Di. I think I lost 15 pounds that day just by sweating, but other than that, I didn't do anything... it was up to her to walk into my trap :-)

  • AMAZING AS USUAL,THANKS ELDAD.

  • @louiesbath Thank you Christina. I hope to see you all really soon ;-)

  • and now rosie is lost yet again....

  • @ironchopsticks Rosie has an awesome home, and soon I'll post a video update of her ;-)

  • This is such an amazing video!!!! All it takes if=s for someone to care to change a life...any life! -Angela Shore, Gainesville Pet Finder (on facebbok)

  • @angelashore Thank you Angela... you're 100%. Luckily, enough people cared, and the result ended up being awesome :-)

  • OMG this is great! Thank you so much for rescuing her!

  • @pweller5 Thank you. I am glad you liked the video :-)

  • just goes to show how controlling humans can be. this is what dogs naturally do. wonder and roam. this is how a dog would normally live its life if humans did not interfere.

So tell me what makes all you people think that chasing a dog and attempting to force it to live what you may think is a ideal life? i doubt you all would understand what i mean, its classic conditioning. That being said i must commend you for helping the animal. unfortunately i probably would of done the same thing.

  • @cxvh Really? By the sounds of your initial condemnation of what Eldad did for this animal, a domesticated animal that had been a family "pet" and then betrayed by her family, you don't appear to be very likely someone who would have done the same for her .There is nothing "unfortunate" about this rescue. This kind of attitude is likely what led the family to think it was perfectly okay to dump her in the desert in the first place. Please take your negative, unsupportive comments elsewhere.

  • @JanBee1122 Hey Jan. I just noticed the post above, and didn't realize you already said everything there was to say (I was a little more gentle than you) :-)

I'll tell you a little youtube secret - these comments are actually good because sometimes they start a debate, people are talking about it, getting educated, and so it's all good ;-)

    Thank you!

  • @eldad75 You're welcome, Eldad. It was a gutteral reaction on my part...I just can't understand the way some people think. And I believe that person knew that what they were saying was not very supportive. I think what you do is wonderful and I even sent a message to the Ellen Degeneres show asking her to look into your Hope For Paws organization, hoping she would find a way to help your cause. A long shot, but worth a try because she is such an animal lover. Thanks for all you do!

  • @cxvh There are so many more factors here. This animal clearly used to be a pet, and couldn't survive these conditions without humans helping. You will never see me chase a coyote and try to take it home... I understand wildlife, but a domestic dog is not a wild animal.

  • What a wonderful story and also a great learning tool for those who have lost a dog. We have a volunteer group called Lost Dogs Wisconsin and we help folks look for their dogs, give them suggestions and hope. We will post this video on our FB page to share with all, couldn't ask for a better video to give people hope. THANK YOU! You are amazing!

  • @belkeSMASH Thank you for your nice comment and for sharing this video. Please look for other educational videos on my channel and share them. This is exactly why I bother filming :-)

  • Oh how wonderful!!!!

  • @BillyeThompson Thank you :-)

  • I LOVE THIS GUY AND WHAT HE DOES i would love to help him out. I was crying when seeing this im so happy ......

  • @prettychachi Thank you so much PrettyChachi... now I am blushing :-)

I hope you'll enjoy my other videos too... I have about 80 of them for you out there.

  • you're amazing as always!

  • @boredstephanie Thank you Stephanie. If you're ever bored again, join me for one of these rescue missions ;-)

  • She is such a brave girl! I´m so thankful for people like you that care for poor animals! Greetings from your Austrian friend Alexandra

  • @allPetTV Hey Alexandra. Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I am glad to learn that my videos are traveling all around the world :-)

  • You and all your friends who help your rescues are true heroes. You go the extra mile and then some to save these babies. Thank you fore being such an inspiration.

  • @dogsdoneit Thank you so much DogsDoneIt. I had to go a lot of extra miles to get to her, but it was so worth it!!! :-)

  • As usual, I have tears in my eyes after watching your video because you are soooooo AMAZING!!! Thank you for being the wonderful human being that you are. Your rescues deserve to be on TV... maybe Animal Planet. There are not enough good words to describe you and your good deeds. Rosie is one lucky doggy... and so cute too. I have a "Rosie" who I love with all my heart. Thank you, Eldad! You are truly an angel here on earth! ~ Cheryl :-)

  • @ccookla Thank you so much Cheryl. Just having me there, was stressful enough for her, and so another person with a camera would have made her run into traffic and get killed.

I am now filming in HD, so if someone (like Animal Planet) wants to take my raw data and do something with it, then it's cool, but if not, then I'll just stick with youtube and people will have to come and see it here :-)

Soon I will visit Rosie and will post a video update.

  • Thanks to your good soul Eldad. Your patience is really appreciated and the blessings rain over you with or without witnesses.

  • @18Zabeth65 Thank you. This is the kind of stuff I have a lot of patience for. I wish I could get a grant to do this 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

  • You have a simply magical way of dealing with these dogs and your commitment is just wonderful to watch, thanks for sharing this beautiful story (and all your other videos) with us.

  • @nonobadkitty2 Thank you NoNoBadKitty :-)

If you can figure out a way for me to get a grant so I'll be able to do this from now until the day I die, PLEASE let me know ;-)

  • thats one for the books!!

  • @petuniamighty Actually, Rosie will be in our next book that is coming up really soon ;-)

  • Thanks, Eldad. That was quite an effort. One might've thought after all that time out there that Rosie would be an angry dog but she is such a cutie. I hope she has a great life in her new home. XOXOXO Rosie.

  • @veganguy1 Rosie is doing great at her new home, and I hope to get to visit her soon. (I will then post a video update of course) ;-)

  • Once again, Bless you Eldad and those who helped little Rosie. Just the type of story I needed after a long, trying day! As always, you restore my faith that there are more good than bad folks out there. :) Keep up the good and much needed work!

  • @Totalenigma2u Thank you so much! I am glad you enjoyed this story. I just spoke to Donna (who posted the flyer at the desert), and she told me that Rosie is doing great. I will actually get to meet Rosie's mom next week :-)

  • Thank you Eldad and Donna and all the others who did what they could to help. I love the part when you drive up and the dog is IN the crate. What a relief!

  • @anita7006 Too bad it took her 8 hours to get in there :-)

  • THANK YOU ELDAD!!! I was so worried for Rosie, you are amazing.

  • @kingsgrl Rosie is doing great at her new home. I will post updated photos on my website soon ;-)

  • I've never written any YouTube comment!! You're my first and you're an angel and hero!! I want you to know How so very much ur appreciated!! This world needs more of you, You, you, You, you... Then this world would just be the perfect world if every human being would step up to the challenge that requires so much patience n love for animals like u did! Again, on behalf of animals that need help, THANK YOU so much for all you do!! =***)

  • @malala128 Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I am so happy this video touched so many people. It is already ranked among my TOP 5 most viewed videos, and by the end of next week I am pretty sure it will move to the TOP 3. I really hope people are learning from it, and will know how to handle similar situations once they face them. Thanks again for commenting here. Please make sure to check out my other videos ;-)

  • You are an amazing person. The world needs more people like you who have a heart of gold.
