In Aneke's case, I think it will be a good thing. He is powerful and very talented. Some of the passes in this video are excellent, and he often pops up with important goals (for the reserves/u18s).

@zebbedi Jack Jebb and Jon Toral from the U18s are better. Wilshere and Ramsey are already in the first team and aren't too much older, and they are much better. He's just another JET.

I've been watching Arsenal youth for many years and I'm nearly always right. Aneke has a good chance, he is nothing like JET other than his race and physical stature. Try to judge him on his football. I doubt you even watch the Youth or Reserve players, just another pretender.
The way Yennaris, Coq and Frimpong has been impressing with the first team you have to wonder what sort of impact Aneke will have. I even saw a Wolves forum where multiple people said Frimpong was one of the best players they have ever seen for wolves.
As for his attitude. I heard he was a very committed guy and one time he actually went to sleep at 6 to get enough rest for his reserve debut.

Last pre-season, Wenger actually thought about giving Aneke a chance to be around the first team squad permamently (I think YoungGunsBlog reported this) but in the end Wenger changed his mind. Who knows, maybe this pre-season he'll do a Frimpong at the Emirates Cup?
