it will not work on the iphone 3g because this jailbreak will only work on the old 1.1.1 firmware which is only for the 2g iphone, and 1.1.1 firmware is also way way out dated now

I really hope that the guys at apple are dump not to check these things, but next time u don't something like this, make sure first u have (a) a plan B (escape route / or / something smart to say) and (b) u clean ur traces (i.e.: u clean the memory calls sent before leaving the store)
