@chevyman8329 Does yours have the ZQ8 Suspension Package? AKA Factory Lowered. The ZQ8's have a 3rd shock mounted horizontal attached to the frame and the top of the axle. It eliminates wheel hop almost completely.
good show, bro. i got a 2000 Sonoma 4.3. bone stock performance-wise, but man those things move. put about a dozen sandbags in the box and then see them smoke! man it'll give you a much better show. more weight, more traction, more heat, more smoke!
Naw its cool dude. It wasnt cheap but it wasnt expensive and I saved it from sitting in a Texas driveway going nowhere(cousin). Its lightly modded, but is being sold, I put way too much money in it and got over my head because of repairs when I bought it. It spins very nicely I have another vid Im posting where I put my Dads SS rallyes on from his 70 Chevelle. I lost my truck in the vid for 10 seconds though haha.
I think he means a traction lock type rear. It might be a posi unit, but it would be lower gears, theres no way they put 4.10s in it lol. Its not an electronic locking unit I know that, but there is such a thing as trak-lock. Mustangs, Tbirds, Cougars and Mark VIIs had the option for them. I'll have the dealership I work at decode the VIN and see.
hmmm whenever i do this same thing all i get is a lot of wheel hop and i have the same exact truck

Drivetrain is all stock. I think the ZQ8 Suspension packaged might have had a locking diff. It has a 3rd shock to eliminate axle hop.
