@northstartruth Agreed, but lemme put it this way, when rat poison is made, and you can check me on this, its made with 99.995% good food, and .005% poison, but that little bit of poison is enough to kill the rat, now put that with biblical teachings, that little bit of poison with that good food can kill yah. You seem to be taking that verse out of context, in the original Greek text the words for Peter and rock are similar, but their meanings are different. Petros, means a stone or loose rock, while petra means rock. Jesus said his church would be built on a rock, not a stone. Knowing that verse you should know all throughout the bible it teaches Jesus being the chief cornerstone, look at 1 Corinthians 10:4.

I dont even remember making that post 6 months ago lol, any who! If those things arent going to save you why are they required. nowhere in the bible is that applied. Catholics like JW's feel that the bible isnt enough and they add things to it. Like sacraments, like confession (1 Timothy 2:5) Man cant mediate. And if Jesus died once and for all, why do Catholics believe in purgatory? Must mean Jesus didnt die for all sins, if there is a holding place, just saying :/
