lashley wrestled in college at 170, lesnar wrestled in college at 270. this means lashley just has a bodybuilder body now and is not naturally a heavyweight fighter. lesnars college wrestling resume is much better also. stop comparing them

Im new too UFC and MMA in general. I m a WWE fan and I watched Lashley back when he use to wrestle for WWE so when I found out that he was training in Mixed Martial Arts and he was going to compete I started to follow his MMA carrier. Im definitely impressed with Lashley, if ur going to try and decide whos got the better striking range I would say Lashley because he's punches seem more effective then Brock's

Those were actually viable reasons why he didn't shake their hands, though; Lashley vs. Guida was a perfect example of that since Guida pretty much passed Lashley off as fake as well, and he's probably more of a victim of the WWE hate since he's still undefeated and has fought as many people as Brock has, iirc.
Not to mention that Lashley's a great wrestler as well, plus, his striking's miles ahead of Lesnar's from what I've seen of it.

Im new too UFC and MMA in general. I m a WWE fan and I watched Lashley back when he use to wrestle for WWE so when I found out that he was training in Mixed Martial Arts and he was going to compete I started to follow his MMA carrier. Im definitely impressed with Lashley, if ur going to try and decide whos got the better striking range I would say Lashley because he's punches seem more effective then Brock's

You guys who are claiming that Brock has no shot in hell at defeating Fedor are no better than the guys who are saying that Fedor has no shot in hell at defeating Brock. Personally, I say fuck it, and wait for the fight to happen, because both sides are full of bullshit.
That being said, I'm looking forward to see Lashley grow and develop as an MMA fighter. He's my favorite up-and-comer right now. Really impressive, and what he's doing is highly intelligent in and of itself.

i agree. people just need to be patient and see what happens, ANYTHING can happen in a fight, which is why Randy Couture is 16-9 and still one of the top fighters. Lashley seems like a class act from this interview, I have seen some fights where he refused hand shakes, but I want to see him fight Brock, they list him at 270lbs. i hope Fedor shuts up Brock and the critics though, Fedor definitely one of my favorites.

Those were actually viable reasons why he didn't shake their hands, though; Lashley vs. Guida was a perfect example of that since Guida pretty much passed Lashley off as fake as well, and he's probably more of a victim of the WWE hate since he's still undefeated and has fought as many people as Brock has, iirc.
Not to mention that Lashley's a great wrestler as well, plus, his striking's miles ahead of Lesnar's from what I've seen of it.

lol howd you even put fedor and kimbo in the same sentence, first of all. and secondly, it is possible brock will win do to brute power and size, but it is impossible to say that brock is actually a more skilled fighter pound for pound than fedor. Im sure if brock cut down the 40 or so pounds that it would take to be the same weight as fedor, he would get ripped. Thats the problem with the heavyweight weightclass, too much variation in size, unfair for smaller guys who cant cut to light heavy.

And the whole thing about wrestling not being "real martial arts" is complete and utter bullshit. Martial arts refers to the practices, traditions, and training of combat not the crap you see on TV.
