I think the reason these guys are underrated has more to do with the design of their show rather than the performance of the group - look at the drill, for example - it's nothing like - say - Michael Gaines and the Cavaliers. I think if they took more risks and explored more from a design standpoint (aside from the choreography because that's pretty much aweome) BAC would be scoring a lot higher than they are used to.

Cadets shows are boring, Crowns was cool, BD was great. Cavies and BAC deserved higher, but I love the cavies.

BAC n Cavies did amazing. Cadets shows are just for Tech points, the shows are beyond boring. Crowns this year was unique. BD didn't deserve the points. it was a bull show. didn't like it at all.

Scores are all on the Technical stuff (in addition to bias too if you ask me).

Blue Devils were best overall, Carolina Crown had the best brass section, uncontested. Cavies Had the best drill. Cadets and SCV were both overrated. I say BAC is 5th with SCV at a close 6th

Im a Cavalier and Crusader fan and I think they were both under rated for their shows this year...and I agree The Crusaders show was intense the whole way through but its not all about intensity...but they should have scored higher

I sorta agree with both of u...at points the Blue Devils show was boring but it was so visualy captivating it was no match for anyone else, and the dynamics brought out a lot of emotion from everyone and they deseerved first. I think Carolina was over rated...they were very very good but i dnt think they did as well as they were scored and the Cadets owned especially because of the whole part where they were marching at 208...

I was there, but I was on the right side of the stadium in the front. (my good friend is on the baritone line) ... this was an incredible performance, BAC has moved up quickly. (:

Well they have always been an AWESOME CORP! To me they are kind of like Crossmen...they are ALWAYS UNDER RATED!

There 2000 show has to be one of my favorites...

Actually if you could watch the top 14 corp's shows from 2000. They are all amazing. Especially crossmen, cadets, boston, cavliers,....blue devils...blue coats...umm yea that was a great year. haha

exactly!!!! why are they underrated. it makes no sense. Boston Crusaders, Colts, Crossmen and Madison Scouts are always being underscored.

yet corps like the Cadets have been overrated. i find no interest in the Cadets shows anymore, least not the ones in the last 10 years. they're 80's shows b4 i was born were great.

i think this show beat the Vangaurd and Cadets. But for sure the Blue Devils deserved to be this years finalist.

wo wo...yes cadets shows the past few years have not been their greatest, BUT....Cadets 2000 show was probably the best show they have ever done! Also their 2003 show was really good.

i liked the cadets trio thingy for malaguena in 2003, but i still think they woulda been a lot better. they still have the potential to kick ass but recently they're well. boring. the 2000's shows were pretty good.

phantom was terribly underscored. i think their show this year looked a lot more organized then last year.

idk what scvd show you saw but the sound they put out was amazing they were amazing at staying in tune and their musicality was great and cadets show was one of their best in years im still amazed that they used vocals right for the first time in a while. bostons shows have been amazing latly and i agree that there is ALOT of bias in scoring such as the order should have been bd, crown,scv,cadets,boston,cavali­es,blue coats, blue stars, phantom, troopers, colts, academy blue knights,then glassmen

I think Boston should be getting at least a little better scores. This show is awesome.

Yea but I think the same thing about Crossmen. They always get lower sores then i think they deserve.

so should the colts and Madison. they're shows are amazing every year but they're not getting very high scores. and then cadets should lose some points cuz they're shows honestly bore me. the 80's cadets were good. now a days they bore me.

Yea I really dont like the Cadets... Carolina's show I did think deserved the score theirs was good. I kinda didnt like Devil's show this year, Not sure what it was about it. Same with Cavies. Phantom's was a dissapointment, I hope next year it's better. Boston's was really the only show that stayed intense throughout and kept your attention 100% IMO.

I respect your opinion, but if what you say is true, then BD should not have made finals because their show bored so many people. When Holy Name gets four standing ovations at finals, and BD gets half of one, you know that something is messed up in the way that the shows are designed.
