  • its funny that the AC box on 8192 is off a BNSF heritage 1 unit... weird how parts get swapped around. good catch!

  • Now UP 9647 is the last Dash 9 in SP paint.

  • last week i saw me sp 177 unpatched!:D

  • SWEETNESS!!!

  • i saw it on a rock train not to long ago

  • What's that yellow strip on the side under those two vents???

  • @TheLifeOfEpic That's just paint on the air conditioner unit. It's common on Dash 9s and 8s that the A/C unit getting replaced with one from another unit. That unit happens to come from a Chicago & North Western engine.

  • how many railroads go thru that town

  • On the AC4400CW's There is still in Southern Pacific scheme but most of them were renumbered to UP scheme today.

  • sp dont have flashing ditchlights on any of its locos i dont think havent seen one yet,but of course i live in a town that got took over by watco too so what do i know lmao

  • That's in the style! You make great videos Roundhouser!

  • Funny how 2001 feels like it was yesterday, and now it's almost 2011...

  • Yeah, They should have preserved it so THAT could have been their TRUE heritage unit insted of that CRAPPY

    SD70M.

  • @NSalex12 u mean SD70ACe

  • Yeah. UP should have preserved that and used THAT as there SP Heritage unit and not that crappy SD70M that they have

  • much better than 1996;)

  • wow... this railroad crossing is giving us great gifts of rare locomotices... keep up the good work

  • That back horn is sweet :-)

  • in my lancaster, ca vid i saw a sp unit that was unpatched but idk if it was a dash 9

  • It was an AC4400CW I bet.

  • C44-9W. All of SP's AC4400's were in the 100-379 series numbers.

  • what # after patch?

  • SP C44-9w...what a sight to see. Awesome video

  • i was just about to say "hey its got a cnw ac unit" then someone in the video says it ha ha

  • AWESOME! I wonder if UP will keep 1 SP unpatched like that one DRGW unit...

  • 8192 was renumbered to UP 9656 on January 22, 2004.

  • I sure wish it was SP8102

  • R.I.P. 8192. Great stuff! I got a couple good pics that day too!

  • ok i see that next time im in pine bluff or fordyce that i gotta do some railfanning. good video and a good catch

  • There's still quite a few AC4400CW's left, but there are no more SP C44-9W's. The 8192 was the last SP C44-9W to remain unpatched for a while. It has now since been patched.

  • @roundhouser was that a P3R1?

  • @ShowTyme1994 K3LA

  • 144 is still unpatched and has been roaming around here in California. I have three videos of 144.

  • SP 352 is still unpatched, I shot it in Canada 2 years ago.

  • Yes, I think 352 is still around here somewhere. My buddy got pics of it not long ago when he was in Manitoba I think.

  • Sweet video! Nice little toot he gave you there!
