Hej there,

the small version of the tablet is a little impreciser because of it's size, but the features and the handling are quite the same. While drawing something detailed you have to zoom a little more...

But for sketching and for your first tablet i would say, that the small version is also a good tool, since it's long lasting and when you think it gets to small for your issues, you might resell it via ebay or something.

lets say you use this tablet 10-15 hours a day for drawing, etc. lol... How long do you think the pen nib would last before its all worn out and be replaced?..

now the only problem I have with this tablet is it looks god awful! I prefer the black and lime one but that doesn't come with artrage which I can deal with but no photoshop! and if I were to get the one I wanted with photoshop and artrage and a wireless adapter separately it would cost me £80 more!

Would anyone recommend this tablet to a beginner? The price is fair, and the quality seems quite good. I sketch a fair bit right now but I'm no where near amazing.. I'm not really looking to sketch people.. more like landscapes/scenery/buildings etc. Or even logos graffiti.

@Georgiana9944 I have the Bamboo Capture it is fine some argue though that the smaller the tablet the better due to the fact you don't have to move your wrist/arm as far thus achieving better accuracy. But it all depends on your needs if you are just starting and want a cheap starter platform it should be just fine. :) I love my Capture but I am not really an artist need more practice...

and no i don't think that u will create such a drawing with microsoft paint because the settings u may do are soooo rare

i think photoshop coreldraw or gimp are good programs to draw with a tablet but paint isn't ;)

It will come natural to you with practice...practice. I am an artist of many years and I have had to restructure my thinking without a mouse. the pen is lots more normal for drawing to me. don' t give up. i started out with a LESS EXPENSIVE monoprice larger one and had to do a lot of configuring with Gimp. It took a lot of 'Preferece' work on Gimp. lila

it looks so hard to coordinate the drawing... do you think if i buy this tablet that ill be able to draw .., since its best to be to hold the picture im my hands.... its sort of hard to explain :L ive used the wii draw boeard thing just to try it out and it turns out its pretty hacking hard to draw without beeing in control of the paper.. i need advice please :) ?

@Rheesepuffs97 I got a Bamboo Create about 4 months ago and can say that drawing on the tablet is completely natural and easy/effortless to use. At first and when I say first I mean 30-45mins of use it can be difficult. But, after that it works great! Though, if you want to see what you are drawing on the screen. Invest in a Cintiq. Though, it is a real INVESTMENT. Hope this helped a little:D

@TheCrackSmack thank you so much for replying ^-^ i had tried out the bamboo connect and i seriously cant control my drawing abilities on that one but if youre interested , the yiynova is just like the cintiq but WAYYY cheaper (were talking about from the cintiq:2 thousand dollars ,to the yiynova : 300 dollars ) thats what im buying :)

I think photo shop, MS paint an Gimp 2.6 is a good way to start drawing with these programs there pretty easy. But I started with MS Paint then to photoshop and then now I am with Gimp 2.6 it's kinda hard a first but I got the hang of it :D

@halldor7913  Frankly you can draw as good as using pencil but it might takes time to practice.It's way better than mouse because mouse doesn't have sensitivity sensor :)
