I gotta say this is what I hate about watching competitive matches. Its all too fast theres no personality or thought to the game its all just tap, cast, tap cast.
@Mantzerbation69 You obviously missed it being edited to remove "empty" time from it then.. Not to mention, good players of any "sports" are going to be able to play faster than a regular joe, even WHILE doing far more informed decisions than you think. It's called experience. Ever seen grandmasters play lightning chess? Sure they make more mistakes, but they'd still beat the living hell out of any lesser players without spending a second on their moves.
@iphoneftwpwnwtfbbq It's not Haste. Summoning Sickness affects creatures and only creatures, so all other permanents can use their abilities on the turn when they are summoned. So you can use a planeswalker's ability on the first turn, and you can sacrifice a pain land on the first turn.
Only creatures have summoning sickness, which means they can't attack or tap the turn they came into the battlefield. Planeswalkers may use their abilities the turn they came into play, but only as a sorcery and only once each turn.
@iphoneftwpwnwtfbbq Haha sort of, their powers can be used on the first turn, all except the minus one, like chandra's -8= give 10 damage to target player or target players creatures...
3 mana counter 2 spells................ WTF.................... its no wonder magic dun allow decks from the past to play against new ones. they no nid to ban circle of protection anymore
@frz655 you are talking about "double negative" I assume. The catch is that it has to be 2 spells on the stack at once... It was designed specifically to deal with "cascade" spells like Bloodbraid Elf.
@agentlala Not entirely. :) When it comes to Jace, people don't realize there are many ways to kill him. Though, it DOES prevent one spell to be thrown at the player, or some damage from creatures. He's a stall person.
These videos are really well done. I have to say I'm impressed considering what I've seen so far from the magic community's ability to produce videos for youtube. I'd go so far as to say that this is the best job of post production the magic community has to offer. WotC could learn a lot from you guys. =)
Wath is it with people who think that if you play Jace, the Mind Sculptor you automaticly win every match? I've Negated and Mana Leak'ed so many Jaces that it is just not funny anymore :( My opinion is that it is overrated and you dont need it to win. Any deck that supports blue can just play a Jace Beleren on the side to deal with this highly overrated planeswalker.
He sounds like Bruce from Family Guy.

@KlotzProductions I thought Double negative says up to two spells. The catch is its cost UUR
knighttwentyk 1 year ago
@knighttwentyk That is what it says... but in order to counter two spells they have to be on the stack at the same time.

@frz655 I don't think CoP was ever banned in any format ever...
And if you want powerful cards go look at the power 9

Am I wrong or could the Earthquake at the end only cause 9 damage? He had only 10 lands.....

if i counted correctly he would have been at 1 life after the earthquake right?

This is why Jace is $80. It does everything. It bounces, brainstorms and fateseals your opponent.

@KlotzProductions It takes a lot of brain work to use Grixis. My Grixis can only rely on Blightning and discarding efficiency.
