  • I can tell that your father's love and dedication to your family, as well as his friends and coworkers, was outstanding. My father died in June and your clip was very helpful and heartwarming to view, even though I did not know him. I think the concept of love and loss comes across very well in your video, which is a true testament to your father's life:)

  • This is a very touching video. Thank you for sharing this.

  • Hi Chuck,

I have been working with your Dad for last four years.

I always found him one true dedicated professional who loved what he did. He has always been willing to step in and help whenever he was called upon.

All of us at Intel who had the pleasure and honor to work with your Dad will miss him for a long time.

  • Hi Chuck,

I met your Dad 10+ years ago in Oregon. In addition to being very technical, Jerry really went out of his way to make everyone welcome (we were merging new teams together). I appreciated his upbeat nature, his humor, and his good natured approach to everything. He was certainly a key asset to Intel and will be missed.

Thanks for posting this memorial. It's a great tribute and a reminder(we haven't crossed paths in years). My condolences to you and your family.

  • Hi Chuck,

I am saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. We worked together for years back in the early "Remote Access" days at Intel. Jerry always had a smile on his face and was a very caring man. He mentored me through my early career with love and grace and always had a positive impact on everyone he came across. One thing that always struck me was his love of life and his family. He was loved and will be missed.

My condolences to you and your family.

    Sincerly,

  • Hi Chuck,

I just heard Jerry has passed away from old colleagues at Intel. I was so sad and can't believe it.

Jerry and I had worked very close together for more than 10 years at Intel, until I was laid off from Intel 2 years ago, and he was the greatest guys I ever work with.

It is great loss for your family and for all of us at well. Jerry will be missed. My most sincere condolences to your whole family.

    Sincerely,

    Nhuong Nguyen

  • His love will never leave you, Chuck.

  • Your Dad was one of the most upbeat and positive guys Ive come to know at work. He was always willing to lend a hand to a problem, regardless of whether or not the responsibility completely fell within his realm. I will very much miss his cheerfulness and enthusiasm. He was an enjoyable person to work with, but more importantly he was a good man who was always willing to look on the bright side of things. My prayers will continue to be you and your family during this time.

  • Excellent video Chuck!

  • My condolences, I used to work for Intel and during those times, I was working with Jerry on project and testing. He was a great person to work with. He was a true friend of mine. I am based in Santa Clara, CA. One time I went to Oregon to do a project and I met your father Jerry. We had lunch together.

I got a call the other day from my friend that know your father Jerry and I am very sad and so sorry. I can not believe it. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

  • Chuck - what a great video. I am still so saddened by your dad's passing. Ive had the privilege to work with Jerry when I first joined Intel in 2000, and then last year our paths crossed again, and it was again so nice to work with him. He will be greatly missed by those of us whove known him and worked with him. My prayers are with you and your family; may you find peace in good memories and knowing that your dad was in the arms of someone he loved so much when he made his transition. Tamar

  • What a great man he must have been. Sorry for your loss.

  • What an incredibly moving video. Seeing it truly brought a tear to my eye. By all accounts your dad was a great guy, and I'm sure he's proud of how you're coping. Thanks for sharing mate.

  • Love the video my friend. Sweet memories of a great guy. Thanks for sharing your memories with us.-Randy

  • Thank you, Randy. Sweet memories indeed.
