Luigi's mansion was awesome and creative, the perfect launch title for the gamecube. BUT why the hell does nintendo make a sequel people have been begging for since 2003 and release it on a gimmicky and very overpriced piece of crap that makes you sea sick when used as instructed, and NOT on the wii, you know, that one mayor console that didn't have a decent game release in two years (with the exception of skyward sword)? Or is it just because they're still in deny that the 3ds was a bad idea?!

@andrewrk: Actually, May 2nd is a placeholder. They are NOT all coming out May 2nd. Nintendo doesn't release multiple big games for the same console on the same day ever. I'm guessing Animal Crossing will come out early summer, Luigi's Mansion will come out mid-summer, and Paper Mario will come out in the fall.

I agree with MrCommunityTage, some people have never had a chance to hold a console controller, especially a Gamecube controller. @Gandlersfake You're right in that the first game didn't need a sequel, it had a nice conclusion. However, remember that it was very short, and left tons of people wanting more. Luigi fans begged for a sequel every year until this unveiling. Luigi's Mansion 2 doesn't retain intricately detailed textures and models like it's predecessor, definitely not, but it blooms with a whimsical personality and immersing 3D. I guarantee you, a great gameplay experience can be achieved through the 3DS.

The only thing that was scary in the first one was those red and orange ghost that pop out of the ceiling, and the part where all the electricity is out, so u have to go from the roof top all the way down to the basement, and EVERY room is dark filled with ghost.

In opinion just saying. Making this to be the last game for GameCube wouldn't be a bad idea since you can play GameCube games on the Wii. Reason behind all of this is because the controller is the most important tool for a console and in my opinion the GameCube controller was one of the best. In that case I guess the game would have to bring a GameCube controller since the young generation might not had the chance to play GameCube. This should be made into a Luigi Wii Console Edition.
