the 60's cars are made by scx?? what are they? where did u get them???

i love old schoold racing and i really would like to have them...

  • @Kryz73

Those are made by Scalextric and now rare and out of catalog...a friend of ours was brave enough to let us race them...tons of fun...you could get the re-issue versions with different liveries now available by Scalextric, they're also great...

  • Sweet - now I have to go in the basement and get my track out of storage. I think it has been packed away for 10 years! Nice set of cars!

  • Nice track!. Not overly complicated and three lanes.. when 2's not enough and 4's too many.

I wish slot cars had steering front wheels.. you get much better handling and they look excellent in opposite lock.

But nice bits of kit just the same.

  • @bluehachiroku scalextric 400 was like that, it was great, but the wheels oftern broke, so they had to with draw them.

  • @bluehachiroku - older Scalextric and modern SCX Formula 1 cars have front wheels that steer with the slot guide.

  • really nice track!!!

the first cars you use, how are they called?

I saw one on the saclextric site on the internet, but I can't order them for some reason.

    do you maybe know why?

    what's the song called?

    thanks for posting. =)

  • I would be driving that Gold Leaf carefully as well, cool video you have some sweet cars. Are you running stock tyres?

  • Good eye there buddy...!

The cars are all stock...no silicones allowed on the wooden track...!!!

  • Good to see other blokes who haven't grown up yet! Slot cars rule, nice track.

    *****

  • Great to see the 1960's era cars in action!
