I love this track! I've only ever played the SNES and Genesis versions, but this version doesn't sound that much better than the SNES, which is a testament to the SNES version. In fact, I wouldn't swear that it didn't even take a couple voices directly from the SNES version. But I would deliberately linger when I'd get to this point in the game just so I could hear the music.Anyway, a great VG tune! Thanks for posting!
Is it bad that I made a new playlist called "Level Ate" just so I could play this twenty times in a row without having to rewind before it ends since I can't find a replay button?
Is it bad for me to think of Jim and Peter dancing on a Tropical Island with maracas similar to Sonic, Tails and Knuckles dancing in back2s0ul's "Welcome To Angel Island" video whenever I hear this song?
....I never said the Sonic 3 Menu song and this sound alike. (Though they do both share a tropical style.) I just said that this song makes me think of Jim and Peter dancing with maracas on a tropical island.
The level The Flyin' King is the one where you have to bounce the BOMB on the big orange balloon to the end of the level. Good level, but if you hit the rockets going backwards... DAAAGHHH *tears hair out*
@InfernoScorpion14 Many of the songs from EWJ 2 were based on pre-existing songs. "Villi people" and "See Jim run" or the 1st and 3rd movements (respectively) of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. The "Granny Bag " bonus level is based on a traditional Scottish piece.
always makes me think of that old Cartoon Network Summer Resort game from way back during the Cartoon Cartoon days o.o

A lot of Ceefax muzak in the late 1990s used to sound like this kind of music, especially because of its Caribbean feel.

I used to hate The Flyin' King but it's actually really easy if you go through it without the balloon and clear out all the enemies first!
