Best protection I've seen on a girdle but bulky and heavy. The legs overlap the top of my shin pads which restricts my mobility a bit. My teammate told me to "man up" so I just got used to it. If you want the protection though go with them.
Would you suggest this girdle, Im goin back to them after a three years away from them due to im tired of the tail bone pad in pants sliding when i fall. I play Bantams and im wondering if its worth the 100 bucks
I find girdles have no protection. Sure there mobile but if you play high level hockey there just not simply effective unless your a foreward who never blocks shots and stays out of the corners, real players no.
pant offers more protection but girdles are lighter but you need a pant shell over them. At the end it is all matter of preference after trying different things.
I used to play inline hockey (haven't played in 5+ years) and we wore a girdle under the loose inline pants. I would never wear a girdle for playing ice hockey. Inline was no hit and no one really blocked any shots.
ok ill will. thanks for the advice. i was also wondering about tailbone padding. this is an issue with many girdles. someone will fall onto their butt or slide into the boards first and easily break/bruise their tailbone, this happened to me and i want some good padding there

"I could rate it a little lower but I'm being nice today."
hahaha That was the best line I've heard in any of your reviews! As far as comic value is concerned, I'll give it a 5.
