That is correct. There is no correct way to growl and scream like James does so it causes no damage, you can only make it where it does less damage.

The intense touring during the Black album tour, age, and drugs and alcohol was a major factor in his voice never sounding the same after blowing it. After the World Magnetic tour he needs to take a break and retrain his voice, and get rid of that damned tape. Get a decent teacher.
