  • Love it !!

  • true musicians = true music.

  • @nfrantnik . The only real old shool guitar player /singer of our time.

    Respect .

  • @nfrantnik what a dumb thing to say there are plenty of " old school" guitar players around you just need to open your ears more

  • @philnunn1969 : If your ears are so open ,then please name a few who really made it in the music business by playing blues rock guitar now ,and are about the same age as John Mayer

  • This just jumped to #1 on my list of live performances by JM. Sorry Covered in Rain it was just a little better.

  • truly epic!!!!

  • he should be play at the night show. c'mon, his music is truly epic, he is!!!!!

  • Epic for sure. Think the crowd is just in the right mood for this song. Just relaxing and feeling the incredible harmonicas...

  • Beast Mode.

  • For those who are interested in technique of behind-nut-bends, listen to Jerry Donahue's music.

  • For those wondering, it's Mayer playing the entire solo. He just decided to play the first half using harmonics, and bending behind the nut; and from a guitar players standpoint, that's not just clever, its epic.

  • God damn that guy can play guitar. The first half of the solo was played behind the nut!

  • Why is he on the jazz world stage!? Get him headlining!

  • @12345l6789 he isn't on the Jazz World stage, this is the Pyramid!

  • Its not that anyone fell asleep, its that they all died from John Mayers epic performance

  • anyone know what pedal hes using?

  • @Fender074

He's a big fan of the Klon Centaur unfortunately as they no longer make tham and they go for big money second hand

  • ok is that john soloing at 5:12 or robbie mcintosh????? i always thought it was robbie but now im kinda thinking its john

  • @iplayguitar420 it's john.

  • @AhnDanil thats amazing!!! i wonder how he's doing tthat?

  • @iplayguitar420 natural harmonic on the 12th fret then bending the strng behind the headstock

  • @iplayguitar420 Definately John, see Where The Light Is, a similar begin of his solo

  • @0126578 @Fender074 I kinda thought that's what he was doing, but for some reason I kept thinking nahhhhh Robbie Mcintosh is tearing it up on the slide!!! Mayer is a freakin genius this is defintely my favorite version of gravity

  • At least this vid isn't all fucked up and fast. Look, we all know John Mayer is the ballocks. I don't care how much of a 'tough guy' you are, he makes beautiful music. His talent on the guitar and his song writer deserve so much more love.

  • I remember the comment the announcer made at the end of the set, as opposed to the generic "wasn't that great folks?" he said.."wow, I've never heard of this guy but i am definately gonna go out and buy all his records now". I saw him twice in a week, and this was the second performance and it was a completely different set...outstanding musical talent.

  • The most beautiful song in the world

  • this song appears to be the most beautiful song EVAR

  • beautiful
