I think Janis was beautiful. I loved her and love her still. I wish I could have been in that Motel with her on October 3rd/4th 1970. I would have done everything in my power to have made sure she didn't shoot up that Heroin.

I always liked the " Idea" of la Joplin, her vocal drive and power more than I liked the actual tone of her voice. But I think she was the real deal in that she had star quality and she seemed to lay it all out there in performance...she held nothing back...fantastic
